"Arrived late "
Left late, arrived about an hour and a half late to our destination and almost missed our flight because of it
"good serice jst a little late"
Fast and convienient service but both times, there and back to Morroco the ferry left two hours later, this was possibly due to adverse weather conditions on the way back... but it was mid August so not something we expected, it also affected our connecting travel. The ferry was great though the staff were friendly and helpful.
"Late departure"
Travelled to and fro via ferry. On both occassions ferry left late from the port ( 2hrs late from spain and 1hr late from morroco ) Therefore leave plenty of time between ferry arrival and any other time restricted travel ( ie flights) Apart from that all else was fine
"Bad experience "
The ship arrived over 2 hours late with no explanation, due to this I missed one of my flights to London and had to book a new one out of my own pocket!
"Algeciras to Tangier "
Ferry was an hour late but the staff were great with updates and help and the spoke English which was a bonus. The Ferry ride was smooth and fast. All and all a great affordable way to travel to Morocco.
"The best ferry of the 2 we travelled on"
Friendly helpful staff, good views and facilities, by far the better ferry we travelled on.
"Absolute Nightmare "
I honestly do not know where to begin in writing this review, and where to focus my sincere anger and frustration with your company. Beyond the horrendous, outdated condition of the ship, the poor customer service and overall lack of apathy from staff, this entire experience was an utter nightmare. However, above all the factors I could highlight as horrendous, the most blatant issue to highlight was the fact your ship left 3 hours late, ultimately causing me to miss my flight from Malaga back to London. The domino effect this tardiness caused not only caused severe emotional distress and anxiety, but added an additional 400 Euros onto my trip for the cost of an additional one way flight back to London and another night's hotel in Malaga while we waited. To be fair, and looking back on the instance, the entire debacle was almost a comedy that I wish I would've filmed (my boyfriend did get footage which I will attach to my follow-up escalation enquiry), but the fact the ship was late due to a public brawl between passengers, ship crew and port staff for all passengers to see was not only mind-blowing in its sloppy, inefficient and distasteful manner it was conducted, by the sheer lack of regard for other passengers on the ship. Once the "dispute" was finally settled (after hours of shouting, pushing and shoving on the boat dock from the said passengers livid they could not take their travel bus on the ship), I was past the point of no return. It is bad enough you not only delay a ship 3 hours due to this disorganised, chaotic process you clearly have in checking cargo, but your ships do not even have credit or debit payment options, which meant we had to be stuck for a total of 5 hours on your vessel with no water or food since we had no Euro (though we were coming from Morocco where the currency is dirham). Furthermore, when we pleaded to either have questions answered on the delay or the possibility of complimentary water, the staff's apathy and ability to speak to us in English (only Arabic or Spanish) was laughable; if not cruel. Lastly, but certainly not the least, was how no apology or explanation was given by staff, the captain or terminal staff during this entire ordeal, and had it not been for a borderline revolt from passengers once the ship had left, no documentation or claim forms would have been issued to us either. You will no doubt hear from me in a follow-up enquiry as this issue will not go unresolved without payment and reimbursement, and consider this the opening note of my complaint. While in no way a justification for your poor service, I look forward to hearing any and all explanation you might have for this absolute nightmare of an experience that is sadly one I will never forget; and that is not a compliment. In more simpler terms: your company and crew who manages the 16:00 ferry from Tangier to Algerciras can go fuck itself, and you'll be hearing from me very soon. Gracias :)
"Service was OK"
Ferry was not as late as last time but still late. Crossing was smooth and good coffee on board. Ferry was a bit tired and needs renovation.
"delay"
hi caught the ferry on time from spain to tangier however it took an extra hour for the ferry to leave port without any announcement ,finally we got under way zoomed across the med only to sit outside port med for at least 40 minutes the whole journey taking 3 and quarter hours ,are taxi driver had to wait and charge us extra .the whole experience was not good the service on the ferry was very good the staff were courtious ,nice and clean but a 1 hour journey turned into 3 is not good enough . coming back was perfect no complaints
"Ferry From Algericas to Tangier "
Return trip from Tangier Med to Algericas was delayed by over 2 hours and TransMed staff didn't care. Would not travel TransMed again
"Algeciras to Cueta"
Excellent outward journey, which was on time despite the thick fog. Long delay on the return journey not sure why.
"Review "
Very good management.
"CEUTA"
I didn't notice any delay. The crossing was pleasant.
"Ferry Transmediterranea Acciona "
I took the ferry from Algeciras to Ceuta due to business. I did the journet in Club classand I must say that the facilities and staff treatment were excellent. However, I must say that none of the timetables were followed. To summarise, I must say that the journey in ferrry was great but you should calculate that extra time.
"A crossing between Algesiras and Ceuta"
I am very satisfied with this crossing. Moreover, the parking lot is covered and monitored is located 500m from the boarding area. It's very practical.
"ferry "
The ferry met fully our expectation. Rapid super low. The only drawback are the unwashed windows, so there is no beautiful images of the environment could be made
"ferry to Ceuta from Algeciras"
It all ran on time, boat itself was in need of an interior re-fit but all works ok and on time.
"Long live directferries! "
I am very happy I took this trip. The facilities were excellent. Next summer I will repeat!
"Acciones Algericas-Ceuta ferry"
The purchase through DirectFerries.co.uk was easy and quick. We arrived @ Algericas terminal and parked in the multi-level parking (a 3 minute walk to the terminal. Total parking cost overnight was 14+ Euro. The Ferry was clean and comfortable, we were able to sit anywhere we preferred. The ferry left on-time and took approximately 1 hour to cross on smooth seas. The return trip on the next day was just as great. All terminal and ferry personnel were helpful and pleasant. remember to exchange your return voucher for a boarding pass on first floor prior to going upstairs to the gate. Overall a very pleasant experience.
"Cueta Algeciras Ferry"
A very clean, prompt and efficient ferry. But remember if coming from Morocco it takes time to cross the border and Cueta operates on Spanish time (CEST).
"difficult inbound journey"
3 and a half hour delay for the inbound journey and noone to provide us with information.
"Very good!"
We booked a more luxurious cabin, “club version”. Very nice, very good food and good crew. And the visit in Africa was very good. Thank you and see you soon =)
"Ferry ride"
Little confusion at the terminal going over from Algeciras, but we received excellent service from the staff and the ride over to Ceuta was very pleasant. My only complaint is that the windows of the ferry were salt encrusted and you couldn't see very well.
"Travelling with Transmediterrenea"
Punctual, travelled without problems, good rates, I enjoyed the journey. I will definitely consider future sailings with this ship.
"Barcelona - Mallorca"
On the way there we had a ferry that had a spartan equipment and our cabin was not very clean. Also, the receptionist was rude or just overwhelmed, although not many travelers were on the ferry . The trip was great, a ferry was well equipped, our cabin was very clean and the staff was friendly and very knowledgeable. Too bad that one has to leave his dog in a kennel on the upper deck. We didn't have a dog there, but we have felt really sorry for the animals.
"wonderful"
It was wonderfull. A life-experience, because the sea was angry, but amazing!
"Very stable and comfortable ship!"
Surprised at how stable such a fast ship was. We thought that as the Alboran is a catamaran ferry we might experience travel sickness but we were very comfortable and didn’t have any problems at all.
