Baleària added the ferry Posidonia to its fleet in 2012 for their connections between the Pitiusas islands. This 70 metre ferry has a capacity to hold 728 people and 120 metres of vehicles and lorries.

I have twice travelled with Balearia from Ibiza to Formentera. Once in 2015, and again this week. Each time was good service, and efficient. The only thing I would say is that we took the early morning crossing and there was nothing simple to eat for breakfast on board. We had a coffee, but some fresh croissant or something simple would have made a big difference. Chose Balearia for the crossing times / duration vs price and was not disappointed.

It was very easy to book online and collect the tickets at the port in Ibiza. No waiting times, the ship is clean and tidy, and left and arrived on time. Recommendable!
