"Relaxing Ferry Ride"
Very easy to check in, straight on the boat and a lovely easy journey over, no stress like what I feel when flying.
"Day trip from Mallorca to Menorca"
Booking this was straightforward, although we thought the cost was a bit excessive, especially as locals pay a quarter of the price! At both ends there is a considerable walk of over 500 metres from the waiting area to the ferry boat. In addition it is necessary to use taxis at both ports, as they are not served directly by bus in Alcudia, or a very occasional service in Menorca up to Ciuetedela. Boat was smooth, and comfortable but was smelling of fuel in the passenger seating area on the return journey
"Pretty Straight Forward"
Quite a long waiting time from check in to boarding but once under go fast and simple. Still have to wear masks on this Ferry.
"Great service "
The easiest way to travel between the islands. On time and stress free.
"Barcelona - Port de Alcudia ferry"
We have booked first class seats and we were really satisfied with them. There was plenty of place, the seats were nice and the area was separated. Would recommend everybody to upgrade and take first class seats as it is worth the price.
"Balearia good , Direct Ferries horrendous however"
Balearia ferries were great, helping to tidy up a mess that Direct Ferries created by having literally zero customer service. Direct Ferries simply did not respond to my three messages using different mediums - the most inept and incompetent company I have used. Will absolutely use Balearia ferries again, but never in my life Direct Ferries again.
"Exhaust in the ventilation"
Terrible trip, the air inside the ship was full of diesel exhaust.
"Good experience "
Had a great and easy journey. I messed up on the booking and got the journey crossing wrong, which meant we needed to change the journey route. This was done with no hesitation and for a very small fee. We also got to see the sun set which was an added bonus.
"Excellent staff but the crossing can be rough"
Although the crossing is only short we were unlucky and experienced a very rough crossing. The staff dealt with the situation extremely well. Just remember to take travel sickness tablets for your children.
"Trip to Ibiza"
Trip from Valencia to Ibiza (and back) went smooth and without any issues. Ship was on time and my family had great experience. This is my second time using Balearia and will use it again. Serge
"Ibiza to Denia"
Excellent journey. Comfortable ferry. So easy to catch and visit different places whilst on holiday.
"Excellent"
Confortable trip, flat sea. It was absolutely not tiring, you slepp very well. :) Not really clean but it is ok.
"Great trip"
Crew members were a highlight for me. Absolutely welcoming and lovely. Great staff. Great journey. Thank you so much. Xx
"Ciutadella to Barcelona 19/10/14"
Excellent service arriving in Barca 2 hours early which was very welcome.
"Feedback on ferry trip with Balearia"
The ferry is a great way to experience the crossing between Menorca and Malllorca. Balearia have thought about how to make the journey pleasurable and this is appreciated by passengers. It would be great if the movies were subtitled in English as Balearia makes all the announcements in Spanish and English but the movies are only in Spanish.
"Denia to Ibiza"
We travelled from Denia to Ibiza in September 2014 as foot passengers. We opted for the first class ticket. Other than that below, we have no criticisms. About 4 weeks before our journey the ferry company changed the time of departure from 5pm to 8pm. This was inconvenient for us because it meant that we would have arrived very late in Ibiza. But the company allowed us to change to the 9am departure, free of charge. Arriving in Ibiza we had to carry our luggage down a long staircase; the stair-free connecting bridge to the terminal did not seem to be in operation.
"Very good"
You really have a lot of space which makes travelling very comfortable.
"Excellent trip and service"
Too bad that the tickets at the Balearia port office for the return trip from Denia to San Antonio (Ibiza) were €318. I booked through Directferries and paid €347, meaning I paid €29 more! You should have told me it was cheaper to book at the port.
"Glad we took the Denia-Ibiza route"
It was much cheaper than the other options for Valencia and faster. I would have expected more signage at the port at the Ibiza end since we are tourists and needed to know where the nearest bus station, taxi rank would be located. luckiy a member of staff gave us some instructions.
"disappointed"
We travelled from Alcudia to Ciutadella and return. We couldn't travelled with our rented car and the departure was late both ways. For these services the price is too high
"Excellent"
Staff very friendly and kind, modern ship with very comfortable seats. Highly recommended.
"my opinion"
I booked my trip with Balearia on Direct Ferries website and I'm very happy. Departure on time, clean ship, friendly staff… simply perfect! Higly recommended
"long waiting and late departure"
comfortable trip even if the departure was almost 1 hour late. Boarding process not organised. They can improve
"nice trip"
it was all perfect , comfortable, good service my mark is 10
"trip to menorca"
the travel with fast ferry very fast and confortable , i 'd refer to book in advance the seat in first class.
"Punctuality"
it worth it , ontime and the travel seemed very short, can the children travel alone?
"an excellent service"
perfectly punctual, clean and polite
"Holidays in the sea "
Right until now travelling by ferry from Barcelona to Ciutadella was a total nuisance. It has been the first time it felt more like a trip for pleasure. The staff was nice and attentive. The facilities were operational and clean.
"Quick and easy, Great!"
Ferry facilities were basic but adequate. Everything went smoothly. Ferry left early because there weren't many on board. Mostly truck drivers, few families. Cafeteria providing hot food on departure, which left early at 11pm. Cabin was basic, with shower/toilet, but comfy and warm. Stress free, unlike in the summer when we usually travel. Great!! Would use again.
"Delay of over 3 hours "
the ship came vile unfortunately too late.
