"Trip to menorca"
Easy boarding, fast connection to Menorca. Great for a short trip. Overall good experience.

Always in time great service
"Perfect service "
Excellent service, everything on schedule, tvarka ir viskas puikiai organizuota
"This trip"
Was OK. Big disappointment not allowed on top deck on a sunny day and surly staff on the boat. Excellent staff in the ports.
"Good comfortable journey"
Great trip only problem was long queues at. Alcudia to get through security and the last by walks for passengers at both Alcudia and Ciutadella. As I am an old lady I found the distances too great for me especially in the heat
"Driving on and off is an experience "
Excellent to get to and from Menorca so quickly, but quite a stressful experience. Firstly, as we had a hire car we could not give the Make and Registration to Direct Ferries, so put down ”TBC”. Then when we knew the registration, despite phoning, Direct Ferries were unable to correct this (and not possible to do yourself on the internet). Very little in the way of instructions about where to go and check in (we already had checked in at home but had to go to the office because of the car), then the driver gets separated from his/her adult passengers and has to wait with the car for up to 1 hour or more. Driving a small car means you will be directed up the side ramps inside the ship. I found this very difficult and I have been driving for 40 years. Some cars even were rolling backwards. There is so little room that to get to and from the car (at the end all passengers have to get into the car) is a huge struggle. Anyone seriously overweight would not be successful. On board the facilities are very basic but adequate. We had 2 very smooth crossings, but I imagine that it could get very choppy at times. Having said all this, I would do it again, especially as I would know what to do in advance.
"Spot on time"
On time good travel from A to B need this for regular travel to see family
"All good"
A very comfortable way to travel and also very quick.
"Quick crossing but slightly shambolic"
We arrived at the harbour 90 minutes before departure of the ferry (the Nixe), as told (if not, we would be refused entry to the ship, our documents said), to find that the entrance to the boarding area was closed. In fact it only opened just over 60 minutes before the departure of the ship. We were stopped several time and there was a lot of non-specific waving going on...in fact the car in the lane next to us possibly thought he was in the wrong lane, started reversing and crashed into the side of our car. Then we were told only the driver was allowed in the car while driving aboard. I am not quibbling with these rules. I was a passenger and left the car, having been told to go "over there": another vague wave. I found an opening in the fencing but this was blocked by a gentleman. I went back to the person who had checked the tickets and asked him again where I was supposed to be going. He went over to the gentleman blocking the entrance and asked him if it was possible for me to pass. It was. He'd just been resting just at the entrance to the huge hangar-like space where I found myself; however, first I had to pass through a scanner. Totally illogical as I could easily have left my bag in the boot of the car and it would not have been scanned. Or I could have driven the car with all my "metal" upon my person without being scanned. In this huge hall the noise was deafening as there were lots of people, which of course is just as it should be, but the acoustics were just awful and it was a very stressful experience. There was not one shred of information about where I was supposed to go. Eventually a queue formed and I asked some people if this was for the Alcudia ferry, which they said it was. Our boarding cards were scanned, we went outside, were stopped, but eventually started the long march towards the ferry. Just as well it didn't rain. After a nearly ten-minute walk we arrived at the ferry, were stopped but eventually were told to enter, via the same uneven gangway that the cars were using. It was all most peculiar. There were plenty of comfortable seats, but the noise level was very high, especially as there was a TV on, highest possible volume. A lovely evening but as the windows were so dirty we couldn't really see outside. It only took 90 minutes but I was glad when it was over. Fast and convenient in many ways, but I think the boarding procedure could be improved on.
"Excellent"
Easily booked online but wasnt able to checkin online & print boarding pass for some reason? However it was easy to go to Balearia desk and collect. The Alcudia to Cuitadella was only 1hr 15mins the weather was good & sea was flat so it was on time very quick boarding and off loading👍 Ship was clean and facilities adequate just a shame we werent allowed on deck but we all had seats
"An unsatisfactory ferry crossing between Mallorca and Menorca."
This ferry is a fster ferry than most, supposedly, being a large catamaran boat which takes vehicles etc. It was not a windy day, but the ferry was very bumpy, and many passenegers on board were sea sick. The ferry was moving around so much, that it ws very difficult to move about. The crossing is advertised to take 75 minutes, but ended up taking 115 minutes. I was told by business people on Menorca, that this is nothing unusual. You are better advised to go on the standard ferry, which only takes two hours in any case. Presumably this is an unsuitable vessel for the route.
"It was good..."
Punctuality of the ship was excellent, boarding was swift once you knew where you were going. More signage should be in Port, especially in Alcudia so you if you have checked in online to head straight upstairs rather than queuing forever then finding this out! Catering options were fine considering the small amount of time you spend on the ship. Average prices. Ferry crossing swift. Ferry was very old and smelt a bit inside, nor very comfy. Disembarking especially on return in Alcudia took forever. No staff about to know what was going on. Could be better. Would probably use again.
"Very satisfied"
Very organized and quick boarding. Went with our vehicle and it was smooth getting on and off. Loved that they had Nespresso at the cafe (sweet!)
"Good service"
I like the travel in your ferries and of course i will recomend to muito friends and family.
"Alcúdia (Mallorca ) to Ciutadella (Menorca)"
The 1:30 hour trip seemed longer due to lots of wind/agitated waters The staff was very helpful, handing bags to the many people in need. I recommend to have a full meal a couple of hours prior to taking this route Ps: Barcelona to Palma or Ciutadella to Barcelona with the same company was a charm (Much bigger boats)
"Cuitadella - Alcudia - Cuitadella"
Only criticism would be choice of menu at cafe and not possible to visit Alcudia in a day from cuitadella!
"Successful sailing"
The ferry left half an hour later than the timetable published when we booked, which was about a month before travel. Staff at the port were friendly and spoke English. The facilities on the ferry were fine and the cafe was reasonable although it ran out of food soon after departure. The toilets were clean. We arrived safely.
"Excellent trip"
A comfortable efficient service.
"Ferry between Minorca & Mallorca "
Booked on the Internet 1 mouth before trip not told we had to be there an hour before sailing went on the next ferry an hour later cost us an extra 20 euros not happy !
"Denia to Ibiza"
No problems with this ferry. Left port on time and arrived on time. Comfortable seating.
"Good"
For the short rout all ok
"Excellent service"
It was a great experience!! service was great, very punctual, I definitely recommend it
"Comfortable trip between Maiorca and Menorca"
Nixe is the doublebody fast ferryboat (1,5 h), Martin/Soler the big ship with 7 boards (2,0 h). Tickets and trip without any troubles.
"Really punctual"
A bit noisy trip but short and departure/arrival times respected.
"Ferry - Alcudia to Menorca"
The ferry was excellent and on time both going and coming back. I don't understand why you cannot book online and download a boarding pass, like all the airlines.
"nice trip"
Very nice trip. Very comfortable. But I wish we were allowed to go outside on upper deck. As a photographer I don't like to take photos through plastic windows.
"Day Trip to Menorca"
Excellent day trip on Nixe - everything was as expected!! Would definitely use again and would recommend to others!!
"Pleasant trip from Ibiza to Formentera and back"
It was very easy to book online and collect the tickets at the port in Ibiza. No waiting times, the ship is clean and tidy, and left and arrived on time. Recommendable!
"rough sea"
I could book directly at the port without paying commissions and with more choices. Rough sea for the all crossing
"excellent performance"
Good restaurant on board, departure on time
"transport with a vehicle"
Everything went well, the guidelines specify to come early for check-in. However, because my flight was delayed, I only arrived 1 minutes before departure. I still checked-in and boarded. You are free to move around on the ferry. It’s a standard boat, the crossing is crossing (half an hour), the seats are confortable, but most importantly it carries vehicles.
"Trips Majorca to Menorca, Menorca to Majorca"
Very pleasent trips both ways. Ferry departed 15 minutes ahead of schedule both times? Clean and comfortable. Suggest company investigates methods to be more helpful to passengers having to carry luggage up and down stairs or organise secure storage for luggage at ferry entry level.
"Horrendous"
Not a very good experience all round. There was a swell running and the ferry was relatively small it made for a very unpleasant crossing with many people suffering seasickness. A larger boat would have been better in the swell. What made it worse was there was no air conditioning which made the whole experience very unpleasant. Also all the facilities were very dated.
"fast and functional"
A very quick Fast Ferry, extremelly good for this crossing. Both the boarding and disembarkation of passengers were really smooth and comfortable.
