"Wrong booking, no cancelation "
I wanted to book the ferry from Tangier to Tarifa. I Don't know how but it booked from 'Ceuta to Algeciras' which is not what I wanted. I am in Tangier now so this ticket is useless to me. I tried to cancel the ticket as soon as I saw the email confirmation but they wouldn't let me cancel the purchase or change it to Tangier. Can you please help me solve this issue.. I would really appreciate it for this problem to be solved, thanks a lot!
"Algeciras to Ceuta crossing"
For the past few months I've been having to travel to Ceuta and I only have praise for the ferry and the crew. It's always been a smooth sailing without any hiccups! The crew are always welcoming, polite and with a smile. You can't go wrong choosing Balearia, that's my view anyways
"Great service"
Fast check-in, good prices, clean areas ! The armchairs are great, you can sleep in them great. 5*
"Great trip from Algeciras to Ceuta"
Everyone treated us well, the seats were very comfortable, and the ferry was on time for the most part. We enjoyed our journey and would take Balaria booked through Direct Ferries again.
"Trip to Ceuta via Balearia"
Would recommend to use Algeciras port via Balearia, everything is well organized, efficient, no nonsense.
"Good trip, pleasant and in time "
Good trip, pleasant and in time
"Great trip"
Great trip across the Med. Check-in at Ceuta was particularly helpful.
"Experience"
I would not repit my experience with Baleria. The ship is lovely and the staff are extremely kind and helpful. The only problem was that I was late of about 1 h and a half each time I needed to use the ship. Because of the delay I missed my bus from Algeciras to Malaga.
"Good trip"
Went on a round day trip from Algeciras to Ceuta as a pedestrian passenger. The ferry was punctually on time and the trip was fast and pleasant. Facilities on the ferry were good.
"algeceras - ceuta"
Night and day difference with Almeria. I now always go with Balearia. Just perfect!!!!
"Wonderful alternative to flying"
Myself and my wife go to Menorca every year and regularly fly direct to the island. This year, due to disagreeable flight times, we decided to try a different approach...and how glad we were. We flew to Palma on Majorca, took a bus transfer to Alcudia and then the Balearia ferry crossing to Ciutadella de Menorca. A long days travelling, yes, but a fantastic alternative to our usual approach, the highlight being the ferry crossing. Watching Majorca fade and Menorca appear was a fantastic experience, the weather was good, the crew were courteous and helpful and (according to my wife) they served the best coffee she'd had in a long time. We will definitely be doing this again some day soon. Highly recommended (and, in case you were wondering, the overall cost for our complete journey was just £40 more than flying direct).
"Barcelona to Alcudia, Spirit of Formenterra"
First of all give yourself lots of time to find Baleria and the ferry port especially at night, Barcelona is vast. This ferry is a small RO-RO ferry but very comfortable with reclining seats and very good air conditioning. The approach to Mallorca spectacularly breathtaking. OH and a solarium on the top deck.
"Ferry crossing"
On time, simple booking system, would recommend
"gib straits crossing"
The ferry was punctual and the staff very obliging All facilities were clean and equipped properly.
"Quick"
A quick, safe and confortable crossing.
"Comments"
An excellent crossing in every way.
"A mixed bag"
The staff at the port in Algesira is not very cooperative. It is, however, in Ceuta. The crossing was perfect. I recommend it.
"Algeciras-Ceuta with Balearia "
"Problem during the inbound journey."
No problem during the crossing from Agesiras to Ceuta. The service was great, the boutiques were open, we could access the bridges freely. Between Ceuta et Algesiras, it was a different story. We were stacked in the cafeteria, the restaurant was closed and it was impossible to access the other levels of the boat. The two duty-free boutiques were closed during the whole crossing.
"Clean and equipped"
Tranquil setting, the ship is not brand new but clean enough and well equipped.
"Good trip"
All right for one night. Friendly staff.
"A wonderful ferry"
WONDERFUL! The seats are really comfortable, as if you were in your living room. The interior design is modern and functional. The decks outside had windscreens and there was a bar with ice creams and drinks during the summer.
