The trip was in all very nice. The two beds room was cosy, clean and spacy, very nice and we slept very well.

Easy checkin process(though checkin closes one hour before departure), nice big ferry with comfortable shops and food options. Definitely worth a money, cheap getaway from Sweden to germany.
"Bad Journey "
It was not a great experience traveling with Stena Line. When I entered the room I saw pubic hair on the toilet seat. I wouldn't be really bothered if some hair is in the toilet or on the floor but not on the toilet seat. The bathroom floor was really wet also so I couldn't resist I had to talk to the receptionist to get me some help. He kindly find a housekeeper who cleaned the toilet and the floor. I was really tired after a long journey so I took a shower. I realized during the shower that the water isn't going down. The drain was blocked. The whole bathroom was like a big bath full with water. You can imagine how frustrated I was just wanted to have a shower and get some sleep before i continue my journey. I find a housekeeper who started to argue with me about the water but at the end he offered to fix it and clean it. The departure time was 7:30am. It was 8am when the housekeeper showed up with a pump and tried to clean the shower and fix the blockage As I said normally dont mind if the room isnt perfect cause all i needed just some sleep. But with all these incidents just delayed my sleep. In the end, i wasn't happy I couldn't get enough sleep, had to argue with the staff, and couldn't talk to the receptionist again as I didn't want to waste more time getting to the queue before the reception. Considering I paid for this room for the reason to get some peace which i didn't get. Next time i should just sit at the lounge like the other travelers or choose another travel company.

Comparing to sailing with Silja's Baltic Princess on a twice longer journey for more than twice cheaper cabin, with a window, Skåne is a wreck, smelly bathrooms, air conditioning blowing in your head all night, very noisy, "sun deck" looks like someone had some leftover plastic garden chairs and left them there with some benches from a nearby park. Car deck is open air.

Great way to start your holiday in Sweden. Relax and enjoy the scenery on deck in the sun.

The room smelt very strongly of dogs ,had to use my perfume to disguise the smell ,and the towel had a hole in it , we only had one towel each , not a small one for hand drying , shower curtain badly stained.Large stain on cover on the one of the beds. We were in room 919

Chairs not very comfortable and had to pay extra for a recliner. Food quality excellent and reasonable prices but not much selection particularly for breakfast.

Don't expect any luxuries but the ship was on time and clean. Staff was friendly. Only downfall was we couldn't check in on the machines in Trelleborg and service desk was closed. Were able to get on the bus to the ferry but some extra information on what happens when you can't check in would reduce the stress.

Punctual trip. Trip was nice and the cabin (external) was clean and tidy. Breakfast had few sweet dishes similar to the italian taste. I recommend to book the first breakfast. Reccomend it.

I travelled Rostock- Trelleborg with Stena Line, I can strongly recommend that ferry. Next time to Sweden will travel with the same company., the trip was very nice , you could relax and the price was very good (if you booked before).

Good handling of ticket ordering, boarding of the ship and checking in to the cabin. The cabin was situated on the top deck, great location, clean and neat. I can recommend these cabins. However I forgot a shirt there and I haven't heard anything about it despite being promised a reply within 48 hours, which has now passed a long time ago.

"Overnight ferry Trelleborg to Rostock"
The on-board cabin provided a very comfortable night's crossing for us. However, the one thing that detracted from its comfort was the shower, which needed attention, as the water when the shower was in use was very slow to run away and in danger of spilling over into the rest of the bathroom area. Apart from that and the somewhat over-priced food, we enjoyed the crossing.

"Return trip from Rostock"
Our latest trip was good. Nice staff at the restaurant and the shop. Despite the crossing time of 6 hours we were never bored. It's nice not having to drive through Denmark on the way home. The boat was clean and fresh. We sat outside and enjoyed the sun when we left Rostock, then had dinner, did some shopping and relaxed with a book and watched some Swedish TV which was nice after being abroad. The only complains I have is the slots that didn't work.

It was late over an hour. It was impossible to sleep as the boat went faster to make it in time to Trelleborg, after half an hour I got a headache. The reception was more quiter, no staff around to solve the problem. I'm sorry but this journey sucked.

Has everything worked out great. Check-in and ramp onto the ship ran quickly and without problems. We were completely surprised by the cabin. She was a good size, clean, including the bathroom. We had from where you could enjoy the view a great big window. The offer in the restaurant was delicious and satisfying. In the shop we have found something even the yellow press "BILD" :-). We are happy to be re-run with Stena Line and book through direct ferries.

This was the best boat journey I have ever been on! Very clean ship, lovely staff and the food was very nice too. I know the lovely weather contributed to this being a great trip, but this was a great experience for us for sure. We sat in the lounge where there was a film showing, but it was on low volume so people could sleep still. A great experience and I would definitely travel this way again.

Had booked via mobile phone online, but contrary to our case queasy feeling everything went smoothly: the lady at the check-in took merely our booking-number and off we went.. Ferry clean, excellently equipped, on time, nothing to complain about.

We arrived by bus at 7pm in Trelleborg for a 10.45pm departure. It's written on our booking that we need to come 1 hour before departure. We are looking for the Stena Line terminal, which is indicated. With some other passengers, we manage to find the common terminal which is almost deserted. The Stena Line ticket office is closed. A signpost indicates a shuttle 20 minutes before departure, but doesn't indicate where it departs from. We board almost without checking in. No bureau de change on board. The cabin is correct. We were woken up at 5am.

Hello! I think everything worked out really well. I have an idea that the staff at the check-in could inform that you must go to the reception at the ferry to get your key to your cabin. Something we needed to find out by ourselves. Except from that, everything was great!

6 hours are already a nice chunk. I recommend after our first crossing a Night Ride, because you can take a cab and sleep 6h. The ship swayed not, so a night's sleep should not be a problem. You should have a drink pack, drink prices are quite high and a good fruit juice do not get.

It was very pleasant to traverse via ferry most of the way. The children were able to move. Unfortunately, the quality of the food was bad and the service left something to be desired. Long wait times at the restaurant.

Lounge in one way completely okay, easy access on board, with children ideal. in return: the only sitting inside - outside the restaurant - was the cinema hall and was much too cold!!

The cabin was a good size and the beds were OK, however the standard of the bathroom was not great. Overall, the voyage was great- good food at the restaurant, and on-time efficient service at both Rostock and Trelleborg.

The ferry ride was one of the highlights of our nordic-northern Germany vacation. The cabins were comfy and the lounge was large and inviting. The process of loading and unloading was very simple. Best of all, the price was very affordable and resulted in a major cost savings vice another night in a hotel, two more toll bridges and $10/gallon gas in the nordic region that would have been required to drive the same distance.
