Toilet dirty, cabin dusty.
"Trelloborg - Rostock"
Easy checkin process(though checkin closes one hour before departure), nice big ferry with comfortable shops and food options. Definitely worth a money, cheap getaway from Sweden to germany.
"Too bad"
It was not a good experience. Firstly had to climb 7 stairs with my big bags. It was not clean. No seats available and people were sleeping everywhere.
"Nice confortable"

"Travel with corona pandemic"
I greatly appreciated being able to return to Norway from southern europe as one of many travellers forced to return home by the pandemic. I reserved a seat on the boat from southern europe and at first thought the row of reserved seats in otherwise empty lounge at this time were all for me but turned out they were for several people all placed together when lounge was empty. We agreed to spread out with distance between us so this was no problem. Workers were busily working on the boat in preparation for our changing world and the boat is a busy part of trucking transit. Having travelled through countries in a lockdown where there were physical barriers between customers and staff I appreciated the service from your staff but must express concern for the staff on the boat. It turned out in the last hour on the boat that there were many people on board in transit from Central America and other lands via airports, trains and the ferry and risks for corona spreading multiple.
"review"
Ship boarding location information for cars was unclear, onboarding was delayed vs schedule, there was no place to wait for boarding except for in the car, very unclean on car park deck in the ship, unclear information of when to be in the car from ship staff, clean but very worn sleeping cabin and finally delayed un-boarding from ship.
"Excellent "
Excellent service
"Noisy internal cabin"
My first trip with Stena, was smooth running from start to finish. Booking was easy, reasonable priced ticked for one person and my Jeep. I had a room to myself, unfortunately I didn’t sleep because the noise from the internal air vent was so loud - I complained to the helpful staff and a crewman looked at it - after some fiddling he declared “nothing can be done!”
"About service "
Breakfast menu must need to change And one of big problem find to charging port for mobile and laptop.
"Rostock ferry"
The reviw is based on a other ferry travelling experience we (my family and I) throughout our vacation to Sweden and Norway. We needed to use 2 short ferries and two longer trips (Moskeness-Bodo and Kristiansand-Hirsthals). The fact that influences my relatively poor review is that Rostock-Helsingborg was a overnight trip and unfortunatelly it was EXTREMELY UNCONFORTABLE. Unlike other two ferry trips (which were shorter but offered MUCH MORE COMFORT) on this ship there was MUCH TOO FEW COMFORTABLE SEATS that would allow comfortable 6,5 hours trip. Instead of that, MANY of the passengers need to sleep on the floor or using regular caffeteria chairs. Catering personell in caffeteria is also rude and unleasant in communication.
"Long 6 hours"
There should be toilets on every level, and the cafeteria food was cold. Also not very tasty, but it was a cafeteria, so dont expect too much. The shop is very small, not much of a selection.
"Good trip, but hard to find port"
In general the trip and facilities were as expected, not very special but suitable and clean. However, finding the port and entrance in Trelleborg was difficult, the signs were not very clear, so we had to ask in the hotel to find the way. This could be improved.
"Perfect crossing."
Everything about our crossing was great, the booking was simple, the check in effortless and all the staff very helpful and well presented. The food was good and the amenities clean, disembarking was equally flawless thanks for a great experience. We would recommend Stena line.
"personal experience"
No input
"Cargo ferry"
Don't expect any luxuries but the ship was on time and clean. Staff was friendly. Only downfall was we couldn't check in on the machines in Trelleborg and service desk was closed. Were able to get on the bus to the ferry but some extra information on what happens when you can't check in would reduce the stress.
"Relaxing passage & a relief from driving. "
Very pleasant and relaxing crossing at a reasonable cost. There are some poor signage though as to find our exit, purple door wasn’t easy going up to the 7th deck and back down to the 5th passing through all the cabins! Also frustrating waiIting for trailers to be taken off ahead of passenger cars. But would do the crossing again.
"Ferry to rostock"
The services are very good, food very good, but one small problem, few charging places.
"Bezproblémová plavba"
Vše k naprosté spokojenosti. Poprvé jsem trajekt využil jako "pěší" a překvapila mne nízká cena. Určitě to nebyla poslední cesta v tomto roce :)
"Simple and rational"
Simple and rational. We have travelled in both directions and have nothing to complain about. The beds are better than most other ferries.
"From Sweden to Germany"
It was my first time on board with car since I was 10. So first experience where I was driving. We were in two, me and my girlfriend, reach Trellerborg was easy, also approach the port and boarding. Ferry was not a problem. It was frighteningly punctual. Left the port at 15:05 and arrived in Rostock at 21:05. We also took a cabin, I recommend to all to do the same, because spaces on board are a little bit reduced and they turn into refugee camp as soon as the ship leave the port. Good refectory service and duty free. The ferry is stable but of course you can feel a bit of turbulence. Boarding and landing are fast and secure, is all in order and not in rush like the north style.
"Travel"
Good
"Nice trip"
Everything ok. First I took a nap on the sun deck (it was really nice weather), then I had dinner in the cafeteria and the last few hours we survived in the relax room. It was a pleasant journey.
"Very happy"
We usually take the evening ferry when we travel south. This time we took the morning ferry. It was a nice and relaxing experience. Good breakfast, nice staff and plenty of room.
"Trip with Stena Line"
Exellent....
"Excellent trip"
Really kind staff, punctual on both ways, welcoming and cleaning
"good services"
Hi there, I am travel with Stena Line very good and fast. The cabin was good, clean and nice. Thank you
"great trip"
great trip, easy and fast boarding, comfortable and clean ship
"rude staff"
goodmorning, nothing to say about the services on board, all good. But the staff in the garage is very rude.
"Great crossing, the service in all areas where also great."
Only positive experiences from the trip. Nice food, no queues. Nice air style seats in a lounge with a nice view of the sea. Good opportunities to relax and get some sleep.
"ferry Rostock-Trelleborg"
positive experience. Deprture on time and friendly staff. We travelled during the night with a comfortable and silent cabin. Good service at the restaurant even if it's expensive. Excellent duty free. Highly recommended
"TOP experience"
we loved it and will do it again.
"Slow start but better after that."
We were able to go through to the queue for boarding the ferry early which was good but we had to wait for a long time before we were able to board the ferry. We were excited about our de luxe cabin, and it was ok but there was no window with a view forward. Took time to unload the ferry as well, maybe Stena Line aren't the only ones to blame for this but it was a bit annoyong in the morning when all we wanted to do was continue our joruney.
"Much satisfaction from my trip"
Stena line Skåne is one of the best ferries I have ever used. Facilities better than expected. Ferries have definitely got better over the years.
"Very calm trip"
We were late but we didn't had any problems abroad
"TR-RO with Stena Line "
Very comfortable equipment (silent-rooms) absolute punctuality, affordable tariffs
"cabins "
Good day, the cabins 4 bed were very close also the air was very hot more than 25 C was therefore not possible to sleep. Too bad I've already experienced differently. Otherwise (except for the wind sarkem) i.o.
"Car ferry very convenient "
We had a very pleasant stay, good service when parking and at the entry and exit.
"not used unfortunately ferry "
Due to the weather conditions in Sweden and our schedule we could not use the ferry and then drove to Puttgarden. was uncomplicated and quickly. ... but, thanks for asking .. now are the 67Euro crossing expire .... shame will book in the future only refundable ferries ..
"Just so "
Positive: Check In friendly and fast. Punctual arrival. Deluxe cabin on the Mecklenburg Vorpommern large and well equipped (except the bathroom). negative: Boarding until immediately prior to departure. It is therefore eternal in the parking lot. Cabins at the overnight crossing very expensive. Bar at the Mecklenburg Vorpommern closed in the restaurant long queue. Drink a beer again quickly was not possible. Bathroom Deluxe cabin small and old. Shower very small and with a shower curtain, which constantly stick to the body. In summary, it must be said that both ships, Mecklenburg Vorpommern and Sassnitz, are getting on in years. You can not reach by far the comfort and amenities of the ferries to England, for example, Zeebrugge-Hull or Rotterdam Hull.
"crossing "
everything was ok, smooth operation, nice staff on board, good logistics on board
"Crossing"
We are very pleased with this crossing. We often go on holidays to Sweden and this saves us many miles, My compliments.
"Travelling with Stena"
Hello, I travelled between Rostock and Trelleborg on the 9th of August with Stena Lines. It was a beautiful crossing, the staff was helpful and nice. The price Is good. Thanks a lot!
"Stena Lines ferries!"
I've travelled several times on the Baltic Sea to go to Sweden but I realised only last time that the service offered by this operator is truly trustworthy and deserve o be praised for punctuality, cleanness and the professional staff on board. Even though the staff doesn't speak Italian, they speak german, swedish and I think English, they are always polite! I've travelled 10 years ago with the same operator on the route to Sassnitz and other times on the route Travemunde-Putgarden, but it was different. This time I really enjoyed the trip.
"Mecklenburg-Vorpommern on 24./25.08.2013 "
Dear Sirs Right at the beginning: I was able to enjoy the night crossing. criticism: - The access road in Trelleborg appeared somewhat less clear to me. - The ascent (and descent) to or from the ship is due to the exclusive Rear access very complicated. - The check is more complicated than the competition: TT-Line distributed the Cabins including two (!) Access smart cards at the first access control. the additional service switch ensures snakes and appears to be superfluous. - Requires imagination above average when you want to use the hallways to the cabins Short-term improvement is certainly conceivable only at check-in. no recommendation; travel times have just fitted perfectly. But you wanted a response. greetings Erwin Bosak
"Suitable for families "
The journey in the port in Trelleborg is confusing. The staff at the harbor office and on the ferry is friendly and helpful. The decor is OK, the quiet zone could be larger. If you want to have a comfortable chair, must be fast. There is a cinema with German films, a small play area for toddlers and a shop. The food in the buffet restaurant is unfortunately nothing special. The dining area is large enough.
"Oh well ... "
Chaos at the entrance to the ship in Trelleborg, no staff has briefed properly, many are driven in circles. Ship itself was ok but not special.
"Well "
The ride over was all nice. However the staff are OK.no ffers in the shops. Everything closed. To keep my opinion sond facilities, including cinemas and sauna open even if you drive over night.
"No comparison with Tallink Silja Line "
After we got the ferry Stockholm-Turku and Turku-Stockholm used this summer with Tallink Silja Line, the comparison is with the Stena Line for the route Trelleborg-Rostock greatly to the disadvantage of the latter from. For a much shorter distance to require about 40% higher prices than the Tallink Silja Line, is only to be explained by the fact that there is no real competition on these routes. When we look to that on the Stena Line fantastic onboard programs, excellent food offer and extensive shopping areas are available, then the judgment is even more critical. The question of whether we would recommend Stena Line superfluous: There are no alternatives.
"Review of Trelleborg-Rostock journey"
Nice trip, good boat. Not much to complain about. Perhaps the only thing would be that it took a bit long to get on shore after the ship had docked.
"Trelleborg to Rostock Ferry"
This was the first time I had ever experienced this and it was all new. The accommodations on the ferry were excellent. We paid extra for sleeping quarters and I believe that is the way to make this trip even though we spent relatively little time in the cabin. The food was good in the cafeteria and two meals were served on the trip. The great room in which many of the people ate and relaxed for the trip was comfortable, as were the reclining chair areas. However, I found that, with so many children on board it was a bit noise in the public area. Compared to the alternative, this was the most practical means of getting from Sweden to Germany. It offered an opportunity to rest in the middle of an otherwise long journey. It can be expensive to do this trip, but it is worth it. You could almost plan around this being at night in place of a hotel stay. At 6 hours I can see taking a later trip overnight.
"Seating - Temperature "
Lounge in one way completely okay, easy access on board, with children ideal. in return: the only sitting inside - outside the restaurant - was the cinema hall and was much too cold!!
"- Pleasant Crossing! "
Cabins very comfortable, clean, nice laundry - Air conditioning was not to regulate - was a bit strong to the outlet - bed near you!
"like a little vacation on the Baltic sea "
always again
"Not so great "
We went with the camper from Trelleborg to Rostock. Given the relatively high price we were dissatisfied with First significant delay in on - and departure 2 too few seats: often single people lie alone across on all sofas, quite rude 3 shop and restaurant close early and then re-open 2 hours prior to arrival with the result of total congestion and giant qeues.
"Trelleborg-Rostock"
Easy to reserve a ticket online and a really fast tour to Germany
"Honken"
A good way to not spend time in Denmark
"Fine!"
Our trip has been very pleasant. The only bad thing was that there has been too expensive for us. And a shower has been missing.
"Rostock-Trelleborg-Rostock with Stena Line "
Everything was ok. Drive any time with this line. Here was true value for money!
"modest "
Missing a information-point in case of questions. Since we were early, we did not know whether we were able to drive into the lane. 2 Although it was a toilet container there, but no sink to wash his hands. 3 The paper baskets at the terminal ran over. 4 Check in was OK then, since it was started for the 22:45 ferry already to 21h. 5 cabin Search: A Horror. We are old hands when it comes to Ferry driving, but as bad as that is handled here, we have never seen it. In this case, a reference to the check-in-card would have been enough " Cabin no. pick up " at the information. We come up with the idea to ask for the info. " Yes, the Kab.Nr. get with me " I then pointed still on the way back around from the info erring people to this fact. 6 Check out was again o.k. Final Note: This Stena ferry we certainly take no more. Strangely, our Stena ferry Kiel-Gothenburg was fully OK . we enjoyed.
"There and Back to Trelleborg-Rostock 14 and 23.06.2013 "
Problem there was only down the road from Rostock. The wind allegedly stood so that the exhaust gases, the whole ship stunk messed up through the ventilation. instead of stopping the ventilation, we were told that nothing cannot be done. Has Lasted at least 2 hours until we finally got into cabin but diesel exhaust and odor remains. I think whoever is on the sea road so often should pay attention to those details as for crossing you have to pay a lot. P. S. Just an idea, if same situation occcures with the wind again, you should turn off the ventilation so that the passengers are not poisoned.
"no problems "
The first time with Stena Line, the Baltic Sea from Rostock to Trelleborg crosssed. whole trip was perfectly organized, pre-booked via the internet and went smoothly.
"Crossing from Trelleborg to Rostock "
The driveway into the ferry was absolutely uncomplicated and the ship sailed on time. Since we were traveling during the off-season, we had great seat selection. Even as vegetarians we found a bite to eat at an affordable price. My daughter was thrilled to be able to shorten the travel time in the cinema.
"Berlin Journey in April"
As you can see in my rate below, I definitely think that the serving of food and drinks are the weakest part. The other parts like faclities, the crew etc, were as you can expect from a ferry like this, but actually I just wanted to relax on the ferry to then afterword’s drive through Germany. I would not travel with this ferry during the day, because then I would have a bigger demand on the comfort and the food so it would be a better and more pleasant journey.
"Top class ferry"
All fantastic. My favourite ferry this one. Everything very clean, simple design and fine food. A huge ship with three decks. I travelled on it before Easter 2013 from Trelleborg to Rostock.
