"Time Schedule"
They have changed the programme schedule after we bought the ticket and left 30 minutes later. They also had a delay of 2hrs which made us lose our flight in the end.
"Late with no apology"
We were getting the ferry from Milos to Athens, where we had to make a flight. We had left plenty of time but the ferry seemed to try its hardest to make us miss the flight. It turned up late and then, with no explanation, arrived into Athens an hour and a half late. Why is there no accountability or desire to apologise for people who may be seriously inconvenienced if a ferry is this late? I know all ferries are notorious for time keeping but even some courtesy to acknowledge the abysmal timekeeping would be welcome.
"3 hour delay without explanation"
We took Tera Jet from Milos to Piraeus. Our boat was three hours late without any reason. Luckily we chose to travel to Athens the day before our flight. We would have been in mega trouble otherwise.
"Our Ferry was delayed without notice"
We traveled from Mykonos to Athens. Our noon ferry was cancelled but we got no notice on that. We almost missed our flight and we missed a whole day of traveling. I would expect getting at least SMS with notification. In the ferry cabin there was no fresh air with a hard odor of smoking.
"travel review"
we were not advised of cancelled sailing so arrived early and had 3hrs to kill. other than that everything else was okay.
"Everything on board but not happy about different price"
Last time I bought the tickets straight from the office. The trip was lovely and the staff are nice and helpful. The time before that I bought the tickets through Direct ferries and I thought I would guarantee tickets as well as saving maybe money. Turned out I payed ca €6 more and I'm not happy with that. It's small but I would like it back because they tell ppl on the website the prices might to up. Also found out this website isn't official... I also think the ship was later than they told me, both times.
"Greek Ferries"
Had some previous bad experiences with SeaJet regarding reliability so we were concerned this year as we were taking our family (party of eight) on holiday to Naxos and were totally dependant on the ferry link to get us from Mykonos where we had flown to into Naxos. Discovered this year that all ferries with the exception of SeaJet 2 now depart from the New Port at Mykonos but fortunately the bus transfer from the airport took us there promptly for just 2 Euros each. The facilities for waiting are fairly basic with just one kiosk selling snacks and drinks but at least there were plenty of waiting areas and toilets and the sun was shining! The boat arrived over 40 minutes late although the high winds had obviously created the delay, five minutes before the boat arrived (no prior warnings, no information on the delay) everybody was was patiently waiting behind the barriers then as soon as the boat arrived the passengers morphed into a massed impatient crowd with no intent of queuing in an orderly fashion. The gangway depended and due to the waves it was moving horizontally in a swathing motion that meant it was extremely difficult for children and the elderly (and others with baggage) to ascend into the ship, it could have been very dangerous for some and even when on the boat the movements made it difficult to stand up. At this point I will give credit for a very skilled boat crew who keep this ferry running despite inclement weather and are obviously trying to keep to a very tight time schedule but surely they could organise the difficult embarkation process in a safer manner than this? The ferry arrived over an hour late at Naxos but fortunately our hotel who were collecting us were aware of the usual delays with SeaJets and don't leave until they receive notification the boat is arriving. The return trip from Naxos to Mykonos was much better helped no doubt by the much calmer seas and arrived at Naxos about 15 minutes late and we had a fast return journey, as this went to the Old Port we had much better waiting facilities at Mykonos town centre while we waited for the bus to take us to the airport, with many tavernas, an excellent bakery and even a small beach to swim on. The boats do have a selection of food and drink on board and whilst we didn't need to buy anything everything looked good for those that needed to eat and drink. With all the above in mind I would suggest you don't allow a very tight schedule and allow plenty of time for delays if catching flights.
"Paros to Rafina"
Great service. No problems at all. As foot passengers we liked the luggage storage on the car deck, which saved having to haul all our stuff up through the boat and then find somewhere to stash it.
"Unexpected ferbot journey"
We started to wait for the sea jet ferry to take us to Athens from the port of Paros There were about 500 tourists like us. The sea ferry arrived 30 minutes late. At the same time, another ferry began to maneuver to get closer. The second ferry is likely to be very angry and sound the horne a long time. And unpexpectedly sea jet ferry left the port without without ever having a car and people getting in and out. This day we had to catch our flight back to our home from Athens. we took the second ferry and went to Mikanos and from Mikanos we catch the same sea jet ferry that left us in Paros and finally we reached Rafina port ( Athens) İt was funny but stressful experiance for us.
"Customer complaint "
I am writing to you in complaint to a change of ferry times, very rude and unhelpful service by assistants at the travel agency in Paros port. I have paid online through Direct Ferry's for SeaJets ferry for 52 euros from Paros at 12.35 arriving at Rafina port 15.50 on the 12th of August 2017. I arrived early in the morning of the 12th to pick up my tickets at the travel agency and I was greeted by a very rude male assistant. He informed me very aggressively that my ferry time had changed to 13.25 and that I would arrive at 17.35 at Rafina. I explained that I had a flight at Athens airport and my boarding time was at 18.30 and I was anxious that I would miss my flight. As I previously organised and booked the ticket with plenty of time to get to the airport on time. He then started raising his voice, my friend was a witness and would describe him screaming and calling me an "idiot" and that I should I received an email informing me of the change of time. I replied stating that I had not received any information about any change of times. I took a photo of him and the outdoor agency as he refused to give me his name or provide me with any advice or assistance. I can send you these pictures. I left the agency very upset and and returned to speak to another lady at the desk who explained I had to pay another 57 euros to catch the earlier boat at 10.35. I am very disappointed that the male assistant was extremely rude and aggressive and on top of that both assistants could not help me with a transfer and that I had to pay for another ferry due to changes of times that I was not informed and out of my control. I would very much appreciate a refund to my transfer ticket of 57 euros, who can help me with this ? My reference number when purchasing the ticket is 170985911. I'm very upset to hear that one of my friends who took the 13.25 ferry was delayed and therefore missed her flight. She had to pay 300 euros for a new flight and if I had been with her I would have had to do the same which is disgraceful. Regards, Francesca
"SEAJET more like SLOWJET from Mykonos to Naxos!!"
I booked for 11 family members including 1 child at quite some cost for all of us and feel completely let down At the ticket collection office we were told the Paros Jet was delayed it should have left at 18.15 and arrived at Naxos by 18.55. After huge delays with no explanation as to why we finally boarded Paros Jet there was no information given by staff until many people tried to find a member of the crew we were told that another boat was due to arrive with more passengers on. Not one member of the crew apologised for the delay or offered anyone a free bottle of water or sandwich. We were being met at Naxos by our Nikos to take us to his hotel he had to be updated by me because of the delay. We eventually arrived at Naxos around midnight! It was the worst ferry trip by far. I booked the boat because it was supposed to be quick an expensive mistake to make.I feel completely let down and would not book tickets on this boat again. I feel I should be refunded for the price of the tickets 550 Euros for the delay and stress caused to me and my family and effectively losing the whole evening at our hotel. In contrast our return journey from Naxos to Mykonos was on the Theologos P ship and was on time and a quick clean and efficient journey at a cost of 169Euros for 11 of us!
"Rafina - Paros July 2017"
We were generally happy with the ferry rides between Rafina and Paros. A couple of comments: - the embarkation / disembarkation process needs to be improved, it's generally chaotic and not entirely safe. A scrum of people tying to move rapidly through the same space that vehicles use to get on and off the boat isn't safe and it's chaotic when one first gets on in terms of where cases should be stored and how to achieve that through the densely packed throng. The same applies getting off the boat. It's also thoroughly unpleasant to walk through the plume of diesel fumes. - the waiting arrangements to get onto the boats need to be improved, the pens are too small, there is almost no seating and the travel information isn't made clear enough.
"Delays"
The boat was 1 hour late and the trip took more than 1 hour more than scheduled, i.e. alomost 2½ hours later at Naxos than expected. The ship was ok, but there was absolutely nothing to do on board.
"Disappointing"
The departure was 1 hour and a half late and the trip was much longer than advertised! It was not better nor faster than Blue Star ferries which is we cheaper.
"Naxos to Mykonos "
Great trip, lovely boat, everything on time, would highly recommend
"Travel to Paros"
Definitely travel with sea jets again. Comfortable and speedy service.
"easy crossing"
very good views from one island to the other, very efficient, in and out very quick
"Beacuse of the sea, it could be worse"
Let's stat saying it was windy (almost 30km/h), once in Mykonos we went to withdraw the ticket booked online. The ticket office is not really easy to find. Once we found it they told us there is at least 2hours delay. When we go back to the port they add another hours delay. because of the rough sea. Finally we depart at 8.30. Really quiet journey, no one felt sick the sea was really calm. Conclusions: if the weather is non good prepare yoursel to wait, but do not trust comments where they said that eveyone felt sick, it is really hard to feel something on this huge ship ( and with rough sea they cannot depart). I reccomend it.
"Excellent service"
Excellent efficient service. Boat was on time, loaded quickly and crossing was very comfortable. We would definitely use this service again.
"Splendid"
Really fast and comfortable ship. Even with rough see no turbolence. Comfortable seats. We want they same company for the return if you are going to use a different ship. Will see.
"Santorini Mykonos trip"

"Great trip, easy to book"
Nice and comfortable journey.
"Recent trip"
Could not fault Direct Ferries on my recent trip from Heraklion to Mykonos on the Tere Jet was perfect in every way, The staff were helpful and bars were well stocked, Clean and efficient. Only one slight beef was that it was no smoking and got told off by an very officious woman. Other than that its a great service and enjoyable.
"Nice trip"
Positive experience. Ferries are frequent enough, punctual and the general organization looks good. Seats on board are confortable and the crew give information in a really polite way. Nice trip.
"Great service"
We travelled on board the Tera Jet from Crete to spend a few days in Santorini. The ship left on time but both the outward and return journey lasted 30 minutes longer than indicated on the website. Excellent bar and comfortable seating. On the return trip, there was even a live band on board; enjoyed the dancing! All in all, very satisfied with the trip and service provided
"Good ferry"
Punctual and fast boarding, nothing else to comment on.
"Ferry journey"
Slightly delayed. Comfortable seat. Efficiently managed boarding and embarkation.
"Ferry journey"
Comfortable journey but ferry delayed.
