"Fine fir a short ferry crossing. "
The ship was fine for a short 45 minute ferry crossing (not for the return Journey that took nearly 10 hours and went all around the Cyclades!)
"Mykonos Mystery tour"
When I booked our Seajet journey from Myknos to Naxos I was told that the ferry left the Old Port, Mykonos at 3.30 p.m. When we arrived at the Old Port locals told us that the Seajet now sailed from the New Port, and that the ticket office at the Old Port was now a car hire station. I had to walk back into the town centre to get the tickets and take the sea bus to the New Port, where (luckily) the departure time was now 4.30. I had been informed of none of these changes to the schedule . This is very poor customer service and I will not be using Direct Ferries again. The ship was fine.
"Dreadful "
The staff are rude and treat the passengers like cattle. You are herded on. Baggage isn’t secured anywhere. They then vanish as your journey starts. Announcements in English are practically unintelligible. We were apparently given the option to get off and wait at Naxos because the sea was very rough. Most people didn’t realise this was an option and by the time several of us did realise we were told we were too late and the door slammed in our faces. Rough journey to follow with zero crew presence especially for frightened people not used to a bumpy ride including two mothers with newborns who were terrified. Not the first time I’ve had a bad experience.
"Quick transfer - all OK"
Boats were on time, smooth quick crossings. Squashed a bit getting luggage off rear and bags everywhere and people pressing to get off. Dated interior but all ok.
"Greek Ferries - Sea Jets"
All on time and everything went smoothly. You have to take your Direct Ferries receipt into the Sea Jet office at the departing port to have the "official" ticket produced, one hour before departure. That takes two minutes. imply no problems!
"not a positive experience "
Not happy at all...We were at the port over one hour early. We had already purchased our tickets/vouchers a few days earlier and we had our printed reservation. When we arrived at the port we went to the reception desk where they found our reservation and gave us our tickets and we were told that our ferry would be leaving at 1:15 instead of 12:45. We said "ok". We went back to the reception desk to reconfirm only to be told that it would now be leaving at 1:30. We proceeded to go inside where we wait for the ferry and time just kept going by and no ferry saying Seajets2. We were confused as to why our ferry had not still arrived as now even more time had gone by. We went back to the reception only to be told that our ferry had left at 1:15. Why on earth did she tell us 1:30 delay?? We then asked if we could get refunded since we never used the tickets and were told "no" and that the next one was leaving for Naxos in 10 minutes and with a different company. We were furious. On top of that, the Speedrunner was 2.5 hours instead of 1.20 with Seajets. We obviously had no choice but to hurry up, buy the tickets and run like crazy people not to miss the Speedrunner. We missed a whole vacation day because of conflicting stories at the front desk. Two different people, 2 different stories. The reason we originally decided to pay more for an earlier ferry with Seajets was so we could get to Naxos early and enjoy the rest of the day since our stay in Naxos was only 3 days (one day ruined and wasted, of course). We still have the 3 tickets from Seajets NOT CUT and in their original state since we never boarded the ferry. We also have the 3 tickets which were "cut" when we actually boarded the Speedrunner. We can scan the tickets and show you the proof what time we got the tickets at reception, the fact we never boarded because of the miscommunication and the conflicting stories we were given, along with the Speedrunner tickets that we bought 10 minutes before boarding. Last year we were here in Greece, took the Hellenic from Santorini to Crete with no issues. This year with Seajets it was a DISASTER. Once we get back to Montreal I would like to scan you all the documentation and copies of Seajet tickets and would appreciate a refund for not using them. Waiting for positive feedback from you. MELPOMENI TSAGAROULIS
"total chaos"
boarding was insane..nobody knew where to stand...everybody kept being in the wrong place and there was another boat the naxos star in the same spot so tons of confusion...everyone was in the embarkation area first in the shade then a rumor spread that the boat was leaving from the end of the port so we all moved...then it was just pure confusion for everyone.. once on board it was worse..nobody could find seats...I think no one knew it was assigned seats...nobody told me for sure...and a huge group of asians were so super confused for like 30 minutes moving around the wrong places and sitting in the wrong places...just total chaos.. super bad organization... and finally getting off the boat was bad too-bags falling everywhere..people stepping on bags to climb out...just really unorganized...
"voyage peu agréable"
Le bateau avait plus d'1hr de retard. Aucune information n'était donnée, ni avant ni pendant le trajet
"Terrible experience"
Had to line up for a long time to get ticket issued (why they don't let you print it off at home I will never understand) then was handed my tickets after being charged 1 euro to have them printed (had to be there at least an hour before the boat left to get them printed). Was handed the ticket and it said boat leaving at 1030 not 0950 as scheduled. Got on the boat at 1030 and after asking 3 people was finally told that this was now not the fast boat I had paid for (40 minutes to Naxos) but would go via Paros and I wouldn't arrive until 1200. Then when leaving Paros (scheduled for 1530) we finally left about 1615 but of course no one knew what was happening at Paros so we just had to wait with no idea what was happening. Basically as bad an experience as they can make it.
"Big delays / poor service"
The boat had serious delays and we arrived with more than 2 hours delay to our destination. Also the Televisions were not working which meant that we lost both Quarter finals of the World Cup 2018. Also meant little respect for the passengers needs.
"2 hours delay"
The ferry was to leave at 10:20 and it came to the Port only at 12:10h! Very desrespectable!!
"Lovely boat, need ticketing improvement"
Lovely modern boat from Naxos to Mykonos, airconditioned, comfortable, spotless. Baggage storage a bit of a free for all but it worked. Only gripe is that tickets are not emailed, only the confirmation. So arrive Naxos port to find a (small) bit of paper saying you need to walk 300m to a ticketing shop, pay 1 Euro to get your ticket printed, and walk back. This seems unnecessary grit (especially as you have luggage with you) - why not just email a printable ticket, or a mobile one?
"Fast service "
Travelled club lounge plenty of space really prompt journey time, did not know service stopped at major islands on trip managed a glimpse of santorini
"Ferry to sifnos "
Turned up on time. Confusing where to sit on outward journey but were directed to some sits 10 minutes into journey. The return ferry departure time was changed but the did text us the day before to inform this. Its was only put back by an hour. Would use again
"Did not update me about change of time."
Seajets changed the ferry departure time and notified their reservations accordingly. I guess that because I booked with Direct Ferries, I was not notified. I ended travelling back to Crete (where I had come from). There I caught another ferry (at my cost) to Piraeus. To be fair, I had no priblems with my reservation from Crete to Thira. It's a crap shoot.
"Island Trip"
Nice looking Ferry but didn't get a chance to travel on it. Ferry time changed between Naxos and Mykonos with little communication to the change. The ferry was late and don't rely on the email confirmation of your travel time, only the ticket. Clearly we missed the ferry as it was 2 hours ahead of the scheduled time, no reason given! You are meant to collect your ticket 1 hour before the ferry departure, go figure that out! Staff at Santorini and Naxos extremely unhelpful.
"very poor facilities and overpriced "
very old ship, cold environment with air conditioning blowing to our heads for three hours and not able to shut it down as were broken. we felt dizzy several times during the route and we did not know that we cannot get out on the deck for fresh air. very poor facilities and overpriced never again!!
"Greek Ferries"
Had some previous bad experiences with SeaJet regarding reliability so we were concerned this year as we were taking our family (party of eight) on holiday to Naxos and were totally dependant on the ferry link to get us from Mykonos where we had flown to into Naxos. Discovered this year that all ferries with the exception of SeaJet 2 now depart from the New Port at Mykonos but fortunately the bus transfer from the airport took us there promptly for just 2 Euros each. The facilities for waiting are fairly basic with just one kiosk selling snacks and drinks but at least there were plenty of waiting areas and toilets and the sun was shining! The boat arrived over 40 minutes late although the high winds had obviously created the delay, five minutes before the boat arrived (no prior warnings, no information on the delay) everybody was was patiently waiting behind the barriers then as soon as the boat arrived the passengers morphed into a massed impatient crowd with no intent of queuing in an orderly fashion. The gangway depended and due to the waves it was moving horizontally in a swathing motion that meant it was extremely difficult for children and the elderly (and others with baggage) to ascend into the ship, it could have been very dangerous for some and even when on the boat the movements made it difficult to stand up. At this point I will give credit for a very skilled boat crew who keep this ferry running despite inclement weather and are obviously trying to keep to a very tight time schedule but surely they could organise the difficult embarkation process in a safer manner than this? The ferry arrived over an hour late at Naxos but fortunately our hotel who were collecting us were aware of the usual delays with SeaJets and don't leave until they receive notification the boat is arriving. The return trip from Naxos to Mykonos was much better helped no doubt by the much calmer seas and arrived at Naxos about 15 minutes late and we had a fast return journey, as this went to the Old Port we had much better waiting facilities at Mykonos town centre while we waited for the bus to take us to the airport, with many tavernas, an excellent bakery and even a small beach to swim on. The boats do have a selection of food and drink on board and whilst we didn't need to buy anything everything looked good for those that needed to eat and drink. With all the above in mind I would suggest you don't allow a very tight schedule and allow plenty of time for delays if catching flights.
"Journey from Katapola (Amorgos) to Naxos on Seajet"
Our journey on Seajet all went well although delayed by high winds and a bit of a bumpy ride. For short journeys the Seajet is fine but prefer to be able to go outside. The problem with all Greek ferry services is the lack of information on the ground at the port. No one tells you what is happening and how late the ferry is or what time you will arrive at your destination.
"Always delayed"
More than 60 minutes delayed - almost lose my flight. Had to buy club ticket as it was packed, but no difference apart from the price. My seat was taken. Problem is no alternative.
"Poor show"
Very disappointed by our recent experience. Booked in advance thinking it was the right thing yo do. Our flight was delayed so we missed the ferry we were booked on and then we're told tickets are non transferable. So ended up paying twice and still suffered huge delays. Dont bother booking in advance.
"Sunshine and seajets"
If their schedule fits in with yours and you have time to play with then this company is good but if it's a tight schedule then be careful because they ran late on inward and outward journeys, probably because of the weather and tides. They aren't the cheapest ferry either.
"Excelent trip"
Excelent experience in this trip
"Naxos to Athens"
Great fast jet boat. Very comfortable seats. Got to see Mykonos on way back. Also has deck - very windy at full speed so hang on to your glasses. Be prepared to get yourself on and off the boat up the car ramp. Bit of a stampede but good fun. They have very little time at each stop so be ready.
"Thira-Milos Seajet"
Very efficient. But you can't go on deck which means you can't relieve sense of nausea. There was a stiff wind when we travelled & a lot of passengers were seasick, even though the movement was not severe. On the return trip there was no wind & it was fine.
"Smooth voyage"
I recommend this speedy ferry service. It was a smooth, comfortable journey, on time on the way out, and just 20 minutes late on the way back, but we seemed to make up time on the way as we arrived on schedule! Before going, it would have been good if Direct Ferries had known which 'gate' we would be leaving from as it was our first time in Greece and we were concerned about getting to the right place to catch the ferry. However, the hotel we stayed in the night before knew which part of the port Seajets leave from and their free transfer system took us there for 6am for a 7am departure.
"Not as bad as expected after reading other reviews. "
Apart from arriving at Milos port 20 mins late (Greek time) the Seajet ferry to Santorini went without a hitch , my only criticism is that someone on board should make sure all passengers are in the seats they are allocated as some people just sat anywhere they wanted and it made things a little chaotic ,other than that, ok.
"Bumpy trip"
The seajet took us from Pireaus to Naxos and back to Pireaus after 14 days in Oktober. I was strong wind on 26th of October, but the ship was still doing good speed. We was 2 hours late on arrival in Pireaus, but that is understandable when the wind was as strong and the waves also was about 2 meters. We will use Seajet later as well. regards Geirr Dippner
"Fast and comfortable journey"
2hours trip from Mykonos old port to Santorini have been very pleasant.
" Ever Reliable"
Good service of reliable stability. The crew is very helpful , especially while you are boarding the ship , particularly if you are a female and travel on your own. I can't be more grateful
"All good"
No issues this time. Punctual travel.
"3 ferries"
Piraeus to Serifos to Sifnos to Milos All excellent and on time. The way to travel. But repair the seats where broken. Arms missing and tables inoperable. There should also be clear indications at Piraeus which gate for which ferries. Even the taxi drivers dont know and guess.
"Sea Jet 2 Folegandros to Santorini"
Very quick smooth crossing in a clean and comfortable vessel aided by pleasant, helpful, and well organised crew. Boat was about 50 minutes late as there had been high winds for several days although things had calmed down on our day of travel. Slight anxiety caused as we had a tight flight connection to make which proved not to be a problem. All in all, a very pleasant passage but felt more like an aeroplane trip than a boating one.
"Delayed but otherwise good once I found the right port."
The ferry was late arriving but the crossing was fast and efficient. Mykonos port(s) chaotic - passenger ferries leave from Old Port, car ferries from New Port, but voucher doesn't tell you which! No information on quay - go to a ferry ticket agent for voucher exchange and information.
"Quick & easy"
Easy booking on-line, good service.
"Ferry Mykonos -Katapola"
Everything perfect in order.
"Thira to Milos"
This boat is a bit old, I would highly recommend upgrading for the business class as the economy class is very cramped and full. I believe that taking SeaJets is the best way to travel from Santorini to Milos though.
"A nice way to travel"
Excellent service, punctuality and kindness
"Highspeed 4"
We took the Highspeed 4 from Thira to Ios. On time extremely organised and lovely comfortable ferry. We upgraded to first class which was lovely and even though we did not buy any food on board it looked very well presented and reasonable in price. We arrived forty minutes later and we will not hesitate in using Hellenic again. An enjoyable experience.
"ALMOST PERFECT ORGANIZATION"
Almost perfect organization, there was just no help where to get the tickets and where to go to boarding. To have information I had to call the number on my booking reservation twice. (During the first call they sent me to the old harbour of Thira where there is no Seajet). I advice the company to give more accurate informations in the confirmations email, and to train better the staff of the customer service.
"SEAJET 2 OK"
Incredible punctuality on both ways!!!! Nothing to say about the rest. Absolutely recommend.
""
This is already in English
"Excellent start for an holidays on the islands"
Experience more than positive, we were more than punctual and we had no problems at all.
"Seajet2"
Excellent journey
"Jet ship"
Fantastic ship.. With my GPS I count 40 nodes speed!! Excellent navigation.
"excellent"
Even if the sea weather was not good, the ship left the port. I have to give my compliments to the captain to let me have a nice trip. Efficient kind staff on board.
"Cheers Meltemi"
All excellent obviously there are things that a man cannot anticipate!!!!
"All ok"
Clean ship, efficient staff, efficient staff, a bit of delay but it can happen.
"Fast"
Compared to other connections, I have to say that SeaJet2 is a really fast ship. Departure was 30 minutes delay but in August it seems to be a insignificant delay according to many. Intern enviroment are clean and the the journey is comfortable. In this days the problem is that the luggages are left outside because is too busy.
"Good crossing"
Booking ol and good management of tickets at the port
"Trip Milos-Santorini"
Percfect time, efficient, fast during boarding and landing procedures, kind.
"Rout Thira Milos and return 10 days after"
The outbound journey was delay 2 hours because of the weather. The ferry left Thira at 21:00 and landing at Milos at 23:15. I have to say that I was scared because of the high speed of the vehicle, it was jumping on the waves and it felt like reverse, but maybe it was just because it was my first time. So longe queue! The return journey at 10 am was more easy. No wind and flat sea. All ok!
"sea jet travel Naxos-Koufonisi and back"
Good fast service
"Peaceful and nice trip"
I took the ferry to go from Athens to Milos and return. On both ways the ferry was on time and the trip was nice and peaceful. Only the arrival in Milo was 40 minutes late even if we left from Piraeus on time. In conclusion valid service.
"Milos-piraeus"
Trip took longer than expected because of the sea weather!!! Almost 5 hours... anyway the service was confortable.
"Trip Milos-Santorini"
I travelled with my wife on the ferry from Milos to Santorini. Unfortunately, the ferry arrived h1 late! The crossing, because of the sea condition, hasn't been very plesant. However, for this, we can't blame the operator!
"fast"
late departure but everything went well
"Santorini Amorgos 2015"
Excellent catamarans connect the Cyclades islands. The only flaw is that the ferry was late on both crossings and we nearly missed our flight.
"Trip from naxos to Folegandros"
We booked online but when we arrived to collect our tickets, we were told that we were booked to travel 1 hour later than indicated on our ticket. It was then that we also learned that the ship earlier than what we booked was going to be 1 hour late an there was not much information given about this delay. We had to wait in some kind of cage. The journey itself lasted four hours in rough seas which let to many people getting sick. The positive point was that the ship just continued his speed. Boarding itself was a bit chaotic, but everything went very quickly. There was not enough fresh air and it was too hot. You could not easily walk around and the seats are a bit like in a bus, which still was not really comfortable for long durations. It was the only boat that we could take that day, so there was no other choice. Otherwise, we would have prefered a ship where you can sit outside and walk around a bit.
"Excellent trip"
Excellent trip. Clean and fast. I would recommend it
"Mikonos Koufonissi and return"
Ferry fast and staff kind. The ferry had h1 delay on departure from Koufonissi
"SPEED AND EFFICIENCY"
The ferry from Mykonos to Kuofunissa was not particulary in time, but the crossing was quiet and the staff fast and efficient. Only flaw is that there are no route before June, that's a shame because the weather is good to go there also in May.
"Nice"
2 hours delay, we waited under the sun. Fortunatelu the boarding was fast and the journey nice.
"Route Santorini-Milos and return"
Good journey, fast and comfortable, delay departures on both ways.
"Seajets 2 from Mykonos to Folegandros"
In conclusion it was a quiet apart from 1 hour delay.
"Milos - Folegandros"
Fast and comfortable service. Delays of half an houre but it is not that bad.
"great trip to Sifnos"
We travelled from Piraeus to Sifnos and back within one week in June 2015. The ship to Sifnos was absolutely on time and the trip took 2 hours and 20 minutes. The ship back was about an hour delayed. One should reckon with it, if he has another connection by ship or airplane. But besides that everything worked great, the staff was very kind and helpful like Greeks always are and we are looking forward to another trip with Sea Jets.
"Perfect"
Everything worked perfectly. Recommend.
"Rough journey"
the journey was on time but with rough sea. The staff helped the sick people very well and they cleaned the toilets many times. At Piraeus port there weren't any info how to get to the tube station.
"All good"
Both crossing we're fine, despite the rough sea. I have some advise for you: more info at the port about the place where it's possible to take the tickets. Avoid the music video, because some people prefer to read instead. Have a display with the crossing on board. More cleaning in case the passengers have sea sickness.
"Trip Milos-Santorini"
The Seajet ferry arrived 1h later. Good trip with comfortable seats. Staff not helpful, except with the suitcases during the embarkation/disembarkation.
"From Folegandros to Santorini"
comfortable and fast trip even if the departure was 45 minutes late and the entertainment not very good
"my trip with Seajet - september 2014"
severe delay due to the rough sea (2hours). Online booking system on Direct Ferries website very clear and safe. Recommended
"hydrofoil"
fast but expensive
"Milos-Folegandros 05/09/14"
comfortable ship and departure on time.
"late departure"
5/09/14, the ferry arrived at Naxos port 45minutes late.
"trip"
never on time the departure but the crossing is very relaxing.
"trip to Ios"
45 minutes late
"fast ship"
all good. Recommended
"Many thanks"
Just a quick note to say many thanks to your staff who were extremely kind and helpful to me during our recent trip from Santorini to Athens. During the voyage I started feeling very ill - most likely due to heat stroke from earlier in the day - to the point where I collapsed on the floor... I was helped by some fellow passengers, but the staff were also very helpful providing water and ice from the bar, offering to see if there was a doctor on board if I needed one, and helping me find the best place to sit to take advantage of the air conditioning. I really appreciated both their help and also their calm manner as they did not mind me lying / sitting on the floor for much of the voyage, which really helped me to recover by the time we reached Athens. Many thanks again All the best David
"not on time"
we had to wait a lot
"quiet trip"
1 hour late on the outbound but averything went well. Recommednded
"late departure"
as usual with SeaJets the departure was late. No one that can explain why at the port. Not a good service
"all good"
I travelled with SeaJet from Piraeus to Milos and everything went well. Comfy seats, clean areas. All good
"my opinion"
we travelled 3 times with SeaJets during this holiday. All good but the boarding process was slow.
"timetables"
always on time!
"Paros-Mykonos trip"
very comfortable, punctual
"all good"
fast ferry, comfortable seats, good cleanliness
"Relax and don't worry - it all happens in the end"
Booking was very simple, and getting the actual tickets at the port was also very easy...just walk up with the e.mail confirmation, and hey presto. The actual Seajets themselves are great, no smoking despite the info on the seat reservation, of course they don't run on schedule, but seasoned Greek travelers will be aware of this....take a boat earlier than you really need if you need to make a connection to an airport etc. The queuing is organised chaos, and we actually witnessed a family missing their boat, but just an ounce of common sense and awareness is all you need to avoid this. Was genuinely surprised at the catering...not fine dining of course, but better than the food you get on trains etc in UK, a good mix of snacks, sandwiches etc and fresh juice, squeezed in front of your eyes was fantastic.
"always late"
I travelled with Sea Jets 3 times during my holidays in Greece and they are always late, at least 30 minutes.
"very good"
Everything worked accurately ... departure time on time, efficiency of the crew, no problem with luggage ... I recommend these ferries. They are not as large and therefore quieter ...
"Myknos _ Paros with Sea Jets"
positive experience, comfortable ship and clean. Good air conditioning, helpful staff. Good choice the online booking to save money.
"it's like travelling by bus"
comfortable hydrofoil. Fast and organised boarding even if we travelled in a busy period. Departure always on time. Friendly staff
"Ferry across the greek islands"
The ferry was fine. A negative aspect is that in spite of booking online you don't have choice of choose the number of your seats, because the seats are assigned at random and you can be separated from the rest of your people.
"always late"
I almosto lost my flight because the ferry was 30 minutes late Thank you
"my holidays santorini and Milos 2014"
excellent service
"fast"
fast and comfortable
"Excellent service between Pireaus and greek island"
The return route had a severe delays due to rough sea, but fortunately they didn't cancel the departure and everything went well
"nightmare return"
Due to a problem in the ferry, our return from Milos to Santorini has been a nightmare, 5 hours late
"never again"
We choose this company for the fast ferry for Paros but at the departure day we had 3 hours delay. We were all stuck at the port, in a very sunny and warm summer day, at 3pm. On the return the same… 3 hours late. We arrived at Mykonos port at 20.20 so we had to run to take our flight at 21.00. Thanks SeaJet.
"trip ok"
almost an hour late
"transfer from Mikonos to Naxos"
I recently used the company Sea Jet from Mykonos to Naxos. The trip was pleasant in a comfortable seats. Good schedule, good services bar. My family appreciated the cleanliness of the bathrooms and the staff very friendly. I recommend this company for a similar trip .
"agitated"
The sea was bad, there were a lot of swaying. Consequently, we arrived two hours late at Pireus. The staff was very considerate with the people who were feeling unwell.
"A LATE DEPARTURE"
The hydroplane was supposed to leave at 12 pm instead, it left at 6pm and noone informed us about this. It wasn't a delay, the companies had modified the schedule days before without telling anyone.
"Booking via DIRECTFERRIES"
As I must travel between the Cyclades islands, I’ve used this website several times and I always found a solution to my needs. The booking was quick and easy, but remember that you have to pick up the ticket and the collection place is not always next to the ferry. The Greek fast ferries are very efficient and are set apart by theirpunctuality, their good organisation and their confort, which are deficient in the Italian ones!!! I obviously recommend it.
"sea jets santorini-folegandros"
You don't have to be an hour before departure, 15 minutes are enough and the ferry is often late. At the port of Santorini, the beers at the bar next to the boarding area cost twice what they cost in the bars which are further away. It's difficult to find location indicated on the ticket is dificult to find. It's the same story on the ferry, ask an attendant to find your way between the queues and the sections. If you disembark at Folegandros, enter via the central door of the boat, because that's where you will exit from. If you have a seat at the front, you can take the suitcases to the bow, there is space.
"Speed "
The only issue was that we weren't seated in the same row in spite of our booking.
"Sea Jets 2 Santorini-Folegandros"
The journey is quick and confortable, without any difficulty regarding boarding/disembarkment. I travelled in June, so it wasn't too crowded. The fare is expensive im comparison with traditional boats which are obviously slower.
"Milos Santorini crossing"
it's a quick and confortable boat, it's very practical to travel between the different islands.
"The way to travel in Greece"
What an experience to travel to the Greek islands by the superb seajets! What wonderful sea vessels. They are just brilliant and so fast. It looks like pandemonium when you see all the passengers waiting to embark but the system is so well organised and quick. Staff very polite and helpful, and although we were unable to use our allocated seats (someone else was already using them!!) we thoroughly enjoyed our trip from Mykonos to Naxos and the return 20 days later. It is the only way to travel in Greece! Thoroughly recommend for all ages.
"Crossing to Santorini"
Crossing with Sea jets only took about 30 minutes! Very good service in general and nothing to moan about.
"Fast but Expensive"
We have used these crafts for the last three years. They are comfortble and fast. However the fares are expensive and we prefer ferries where we can move round the ship.
""
We used the Direct ferries's services to book a travel from Sanorini to Mykonos , the feature of booking and the payment it's very dependable as well as the collection of the tickets to the ticket office. The ferry was in perfect condition but it leave the port with a 50 minutes delay.
"Wondeful trip from mykonos to santorini"
Great service, punctuality, pleasant crew, comfort, it was a very nice journey.
"santorini - mikonos"
It was a travel without drawbacks and ontime. It was a pleasant route that permitted to appreciate the beautiful landscape full of island in the middle of blue sea. Unfortunately the travel from Athens to Santorini was cancelled due to reason not up to me , I've complain about this and they reply , i'will received back the amount of the travel but till the date i didn'r received nothing.
"Ferry from Santorini to Milos"
My family and myself had a wonderful trip on the SeaJet ferry from Santorini to Milos in June 2014. The staff were very helpful. I will certainly use them again. We didn't use the catering so I can't comment on that.
"A really fast crossing"
There was an half an hour delay at the departure from Mykonos. No problem otherwise.
"Mykonos to Naxos"
Booked on line - very easy. Picked tickets up from booking office very close to port; no hassle but 3Euro service charge. You had to ask at port where to pick tickets up from, so would be good if it was stated on booking form, which would save worry if schedule is tight
"CROSSINGS"
One hour delay for the outbound crossing and 3/4 hour for the inbound crossing!!!
"mykonos santorini"
A good way to travel in the cyclades. It would be good to have better information regarding the different islands during the crossing.
"Excellent service"
I had a great experience with Sea Jets. The ferry was a few minutes late, but we were well informed of the process. Crew assisting with embarkation were excellent, and crew aboard were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely travel with Sea Jets again.
"Bring dramamine"
While the express service ferry is definitely fast, motion sickness medication is an absolute necessity. I've never gotten sea sick in my life but the windy day that I travelled turned the last hour of the ride into a special kind of hell. One other negative was that one particular short portly crew member was quite rude to just about everyone. All the other crew members were very polite.
"Good way to go from Mykonos to Santorini "
The trip happened as planned. It followed the schedule without any issues.
"Good "
Everything was perfect. Very well-organised and polite. I'll use it again.
"Transfer Santorini - Mykonos 18/09/13 "
The ship was about 1.5 hours late
"Journey Mykonos/Rafina"
peaceful journey, the staff was really helpful on the crossing to/from Mykonos
"Rafina-Mykonos and back "
Ship too loud.
"Bad timekeeping"
Bad timekeeping for both journey
"Hell"
A delay of over 3 hours (arrival in Milos after midnight. Only one employee was nice and cared about their job! Never again.
"Crossing fast ferry from Mykos to Naxos "
After I had found a site on which a reservation for a fast ferry Mykonos - Naxos was possible, the rest was hassle free, the booking process and the payment were simple.. Gone with the booking confirmation to the old port of Mykonos, and picked up the reserved tickets at the counter. The staff there is very friendly and helpful. The crossing only takes about 40 min., So I can not comment on the meals on board. Otherwise a very pleasant opportunity to come to Naxos. Highly recommended.
"Excellent"
An excellent crossing, very confortable and some time saved
"A note would have been more helpful "
Mykonos - Naxos: With by hard direct ferries ticket (with no indication whether old or new port in Mykonos - it was the old port) experienced only by chance that the paper should be regarded only as a voucher in my hands. The actual ticket had to be picked up at a travel agency (equal to the harbor). This then also works smoothly. Announced was an hour late due to strong winds, which in the Aegean Sea certainly can happen and to be accepted (please note connecting flights, etc.). In fact, we debarked two hours late, and no one found it necessary to hold more than a few people waiting up to date. Naxos - Mykonos: In the crack of dawn 'at the harbor. Ship arrived on time. Crossing pleasant. In Mykonos again spat ashore. And since they were the dozens of tear ends and waited in vain for a taxi from the port to the airport or anywhere else. Reason: high season - too many tourists, too few taxis .... Must connection taxis in advance!
"Round trip to paros"
Nice trip. i appraciated the advance notice regarding the timetable changee
"Nice"
Ferry on time and helpful staff!
"Not satisfied"
"Milos-Thira"
Good service on my Santorini ferry trip. Happy customer
"Jouney Santorini/Ios"
Comfortable Journey, it was very punctual too. Good job.
"Slow or cancelled ferry"
On the way out, our boat was cancelled and we weren't notified. We came very early and ended up on a later and much slower boat. A partial refund was made there, without indemnisation or excuses. On the way back, the express boat was delayed by an hour and a half. We were notified, but we paid for an express boat which was slow.
"Sea jets"
A very agited crossing. No order aboard the boat. The seats allocation is not respected. The staff and the passengers are rude and tense. It's a shame.
"Adequate"
The ship arrived two hour later than the usual, a part from that, we managed to arrive on time to the destination. the journey was not long, the embarking/disembarking were fast. I would make this trip again.
"Improve timekeeping"
A good crossing, but always late!
"3h late we have lost the flight"
no comment to make as ruined my trip by being late.
"Service efficient but should be improved"
The transport service is working well but they should improve the information on boarding. The booking has to be converted in ticket but it's not very clear where the ticket office is located at the port. Also, there was a bit of confusion with the luggages.
"Schedule"
It would have been better if the timetable hadn't been modified.
"Not so practical"
An impersonal crossing (you cannot see the sea), but quick enough. The inbound journey is always late. For example Folegandros/Pireus: 2 to 4 hours delay for a 3.30h journey. Ad a result, you arrive at 2am or 3am. In the end, it's better to take a good old, charming and maybe dilapidated ferry, which costs half as much.
"two hours late!"
Two hours late! Quality of catering:not applicable, we did not use.
"When the sea is quiet"
Quick, efficient, but souless. To use in calm sea
"An horrible crossing"
The boat arrived late, probably because of the winds. Because the boat is small, it's shaking a lot and a lot of people are getting sick and it's getting smelly. The AC wasn't strong and it was hotter and hotter. I wouldn't renew that experience, unless I am sure the sea will be calm, which doesn't happen very often in the Cyclades.
"A Rafina - Tinos crossing"
A problem free crossing. However, the schedule was modified for both the inbound and the outbound journey. However, DIRECT FERRIES informed of the change by phone and email. However, why not giving the exact time right way? It would be more practical to organise transfers. There were also big delays at the arrival of the Sea-Jet, which means that we almost took as much time than the slow boat for double the price!!!!
"Very fast"
The speed of the Seajet2 is really impressive. It's a bit shaky when the wind is strong: sensitive people may not appreciate it… Careful: those sort of boat are often late (45 minutes for us). Apart from that it was perfect!
"Shame!"
Affordable prices but the ferry wasn't on time and there was too much chaos during boarding and disembark. Also the luggage handling was disorganized
"Very good service"
The service has been very good. The port office agent not very polite.
"The return part of our Paros - Mykonos journey aboard the Seajet 2"
Apart from a slight delay, the journey was confortable (in an agitated sea) and quick, the service was decent.
"Sea sickness "
The ship was good and the staff kind but the meteorological conditions made the trip impossible and there wasn't anyone left without throwing up. I don't know if this happens often, but it it something to bear in mind.
"Return to Paros Mykonos"
I wanted to leave a very good review I had the refund of the ticket, from a previous booking (Mykonos /Paros). So I booked and I went to another destination the staff was so professional. Very good services offered I recommend this company
"Trip from Mykonos to Santorini "
We had a nice trip from Mykonos to Santorini despite the strong wind that delayed us by 2 hours. The worst thing is that the waiting area of the port in Mykonos was an open space with no toilets and very few seats. You could go to close restaurants but when you don't know the departing time and you are carrying some luggage, it seems quite difficult to move around.
"fast, but not on time and more expensive than the competition "
and you can not even get out
