It’s actually amazing, didn’t expect such a big boat with live shows, a casino, restaurants and shops inside, it was a great experience.
"New Experience "
The journey was very nice. We travelled with car & with booked cabin. everything looking very organized and planed. Team who is helping for car parking in ship & exiting from ship is doing excellent job. This trip had with family (5 Years kid) . My kid supper…… happy about his time in ship. Kids have play area & multiple activities to do in the ship they will feel need more time to spend in ship. Overall, me & my family so happy with this journey. Requests Try to make more food options & accept all type of liquid cash as per the countries the ship transport is planned. They only allowing the Euros even when we are traveling from Sweden to Finland not accepting the Swedish currency. Excepting some sky deck cabin to enjoy the front view of ship as we have for back.
"Best cruise"
The Silja line Baltic Princess has an excellent ambience, very nice staff, very clean. But i wild recommend that they clean the toilets much more, it was filthy. Other than everything was neat and tidy.
"Tallink silja"
Everything was perfect
"Friendly staff and clean facilities"
Found half a pistachio shell in the bed but everything was great really.
"Wonderful trip"
Very good!very neat!
"Another great trip"
We had a wonderful trip. No surprises. Enjoyed everything about it.
"exilent"
very exilent
"Superb experience"
Cabin was very nice, functional and quiet. Loading and disembarking very efficient. This ship is like a luxury cruiser for the price of a bus ticket.
"Smooth & cool!"
An excellent overall experience! The car check-in was a bit too long (waiting in a queue), but then went quite smoothly. Boarding and stay was great! In general, food, drinks and shopping was far too expensive (even when duty free) - if this was made more affordable, I guess everyone will then drink and dine on board. Cabin and the ferry itself was very nice. De-boarding was genuinely smooth.
"Sailing"
One of the best ships we have been with spectacular scenery. Highly recommended.
"Blissful"
Fantastic trip - magical sailing through the Turku Archipelago as the sun set and we ate delicious food in The Happy Lobster. Great cabin with comfortable double bed (we were travelling premium class). Premium class really worth it for the nice cabin and the incredible breakfast - I have NEVER had such a good breakfast!!
"one day to Stockholm "
Was nice and especially cheap travel with Tallink Silja!
"Feedback "
When we arrived in our cabin the area was still being cleaned. Staff very busy and not friendly. The food in the Fast Lane was good and reasonably priced. Cabin was very good and Journey was comfortable.
"A very pleasant journey "
We travelled on the Baltic Princess as part of a Scandinavian holiday. On arriving at the ferry terminal in Stockholm early in the morning we were disappointed to find the cafe closed as we were hoping for a coffee and a bite to eat whilst we waited to board. In general we were very happy with the voyage. We sat out on deck for much of the journey watching the archipelago islands glide by. We had lunch in the grande buffet which, as with most buffets, is reasonably good value if you have a large appetite. There was a wide range of food available of a satisfactory quality. Frustratingly we found that many of the ship’s restaurants are closed from 12-2 so we had lunch a little later than we would have liked. Our only other complaint is that the ship’s bar would not refill our water bottles. Where we live in the UK many businesses will happily do this in recognition of the fact that we need to discourage the use of reusable plastics. It would be nice to see the ferry company showing the same environmental concern. Overall, the ship was clean and well organised and the staff were friendly. We would happily travel with this ferry company again.
"Stockholm - Turku"
Well, this was far more than i expected, at such a great price, and a great way to get across from Stockholm to Turku or Helsinki. £20 i paid and was able to watch the on board entertainment, eat the great food from the restaurant (not inc). But definately a 5 star way of getting across. Loved the journey !
"Take this trip!"
Amorella is a very elegant ship. The dinner is first rate with attentive and fast service in the restaurant. Room is fine. Just take a shower before bed as the boat gets in early and turns around to go back within an hour.
"Awesome choice! "
I thought it was a simple (and boring) ferry at first and was surprised by catching myself in the middle of a cruise ship. So many fun things to do! I would definitely recommend it over and over to anyone. Thank you Direct Ferries, I had a great experience!
"Summer view"
We had an easy journey to Finland and back to Sweden...We took our car and everything went smoothly..excellent service and organization.
"Stockholm to Turku 9 Apr"
Great trip, but could would be god to have smokers confined to certain areas. As a non-smoker, going onto the deck for fresh air and the views was often marred by smokers pollution. Otherwise, all good, an enjoyable trip, with good catering.
"Traveling by cruise "
Every thing was perfect
"Work trip"
Nice calm trip
"A civilised way to travel"
Good food, plenty to drink and great scenery along the way, what's not to like!
"Turku-Stockholm Trip"
We slept overnight and it was nearly impossible due to the loud music below us. Hence there were a lot of vibrations from the ship itself but that was pretty manageable for me. What my friend and I can really complain about is the hard bed. The one in our van we travelled with is much softer :) So in conclusion, I would welcome a little bit softer beds than the one we had to sleep on.
"Warning Economy Class Travel - Noise "
All E-Class Cabins are over the Nightclub / Disco. I did not realise this when I booked. I am a seasoned traveler and used to noise, so I go packed with ear plugs. WOW, these cabins are directly above the speakers. Not only is the music very very very loud you also feel the thumping base come up through the floor and through the bed. Luckily I was able to change cabins at the cost of Euro 10. The staff were polite and explained that the web site does say there can be noise heard in these cabins. Checking the Silja Line web site it says : "E-CLASS Due to cabin location you may experience some noise." There is no "may" about it, the noise is there every night and intolerable. Otherwise, very nice cabins and very good services on the ship. The restaurants serve excellent food, I was very impressed, although they can be busy. A good service to travel on, just don't book E-Class.
"Kids loved it"
This was the homeward leg of our journey. On the outbound trip we had a 4 berth outside cabin, this time we had the inside cabin which lacks an outside window. That was a bit of a disappointment to the kids, it's nice to sit in the cabin before bedtime and see the archipelago drift by but it was not a big issue. Bunk beds in the 4 berth cabin were fine for all of us (I'm 1m96). We didn't book dinner on either trip, there were no window seats left at the buffet (and no space at all on the outbound trip) but we were able to get a table at the Grill House from which we could see the sea. Their salad buffet is a much better deal than the big buffet in my opinion - you don't really need 100 options - and there was a children's buffet with pasta, fries and pancakes as well. On the outbound leg we dined at the Italian restaurant, which was very good. We would do the same again. Kids (5 & 3) loved the play corner. Not much need for the rest of the entertainment.
"Turku-Stockholm"
It was a smooth trip with nice entertainment! Nothing to complain!
"Nice trip"
Pleasant journey both ways, I can recommend the Happy Lobster for a great meal.
"An extended holiday"
We booked the Baltic Princess to complete our visit to a few Baltic cities, we did not appreciate how popular these sailings were and managed to book the last available cabin. The Silja staff in Turku could not have been more helpful with booking the extras needed for instance the buffet meal and use of lockers at the port. The sailing was on time and as soon as the passengers were aboard, the ship left, cabins were found and the restaurants opened. What a meal! Small portions of every course were the order of the day so that every dish was tasted. Every dish was first class. Then the piano bar where we struck a conversation with a Finish couple before retiring to the cabin in anticipation of an early morning wake up call. A real treat at a very affordable price.
"simply unforgettable "
Good value of money for foot passengers, and really didnt expect to be such a large ship!
"Great experience"
Not knowing what you can expect the trip from Turku to Stockholm was like a luxe honeymoon of one night.
"Great trips"
Every thing was fine, the food, the cabin and the service
"Clean and beautiful"
I have no complaints, really. I liked the way kids were welcomed on board the ship with a Moomin figure saying hello :-) There was a wide variety of catering, bars and restaurants as well as something to choose from for kids. It was easy to step outside the ship and watch Finland disappear, and the windows are clean (easy to watch from inside). I took ferry to Finland by another company and this was way superior. The internet access is better, the TVs screens are bigger, the variety of shops, entertainment and bars much wider, the ferry was cleaner and the staff friendlier.
"Wonderful trip"
Checking in goes very smoothly, with much professionalism. The ship looks neat and clean. The cabin was not large, but it was just for us 3 adults and two large dogs which was fine. The shopping arcade and restaurants are nice with spacious layout and look very well taken care of. All in all, a good experience. Highly recommended. Also the staff is very friendly and helpful.
"Good prize with suitable timetable"
It was nice to take this ferry for the trip. Very comfortable journey.
"Everything was perfect!"
5☆
"Dont forget something in your car..."
Our trip from Turku to Stockholm was pleasant, without any negative experiences. But little trouble for us is unable go to car-deck for pickup something during trip. I know, this is for security reason, but it is quite uncomfortable.
"Definitely travel during the day!"
It was more like a cruise boat than a car ferry. The services, food options were good and the views throughout the whole trip were fabulous. Highly recommend it.
"Nice trip"
Good
"Opinion about the ferry from Stockholm to Turku"
Very good trip! Nice views The ferry is very modern. The price of the ticket is good too. I recommend a lot
"Hassle with tickets"
Misunderstanding about what was booked!
"Off to Stockholm from Turku"
Wonderful summer evening cruise in good weather. Cabin more spacious than expected on 9th deck, and bed linen was very good. Lots of different styles of entertainment, and enough places to sit and watch the islands go by as the sun set. We picnicked on deck, so haven't been able to rate the catering. It would hav e been helpful to have had information about the terminal at the start of our trip from Turku i.e. what time passengers should arrive before boarding, facilities at the terminal, whether a local bus went there....but impressively smooth voyage.

"travel on Baltic Princess"
Clean cabin, plenty of restaurants on board, helpful personnel, good tax free shop with a good selection of alcohol and sweets. The pub had a good musical entertainment, the selection of beers from tap could have been better. From Finnish beers Karhu would have been nice, another Swedish or Estonian beer would be good. If it is meant to be an Irish pub, some Irish beer would have been great (just noticed the musician was Irish). Unfortunately it was noisy in the cabin until late at night, due to the noise levels in the game hall underneath. I did not try any of the catering on board due to my low budget.
"ideal for families"
recommended, friendly staff , good cabin
"ferry"
all perfect
"good fun"
really enjoyed it thanks - was surprised how much entertainment there was on board!
"MS Galaxy - Turku to Stockholm on Friday 15 August 2014."
My family of three shared a cabin (with view)for the above journey. You have certainly been blessed by nature as the trip out of Turku through the archapelago and similarly into Stockholm must rank as one of the most spectacular sea journeys in the world. Absolutely beautiful. The ship was very comfortable and the onboard staff excellent and helpful. Thanks to the captain and his crew for a safe and most interesting journey. I am in awe of the crew's seamanship in manoeuvring the ship in the channel at Mariehamn.
"Excellent boat trip!"
First trip with Baltic Princess! Can most definitely recommend traveling with it. Aboslutely everything went as planned and according to schedule.
"Boat trip"
Travelled with this operator since we were going to a dog show in Helsinki. The dog toilet wasn't good though, none of the dogs wanted to use it, they went outside but we cleaned up after them. The cabin was situated on one of the top decks, on top of the disco which made it hard to get some sleep and were supposed to drive the morning after. Apart from that the ship was nice and we ate at the buffé which had great food.
"Baltic Princess"
This is not a ferry this is a cruise ship. we we'd been on this boat fro a longer trip. very good
"Great travel experience"
I travelled with "Baltic Princess" between Stockholm and Turku the 4th of August 2014. It was a nice trip in every way. Great weather and fantastic nature, especially the Finnish archipelago on the way from Turku and the Swedish one when arriving to Stockholm. All this with nice environment onboard a ferry with high standards. We also had good food served by a friendly staff providing great service. I will without a doubt recommend this to other people and I would really like to take this trip again sometime. Kind regards Per Tronstad.
"Comfortable journey in a lovely archipelago"
Took the night ferry from Turku to Stockholm with one child, so we did not use many of the ships amenities. But the Mummi disco and the flashing light children's drink was a big success. Nice selection of shops on the ship as well. Always good to use the night sailing for transport and the view from deck was impeccable, with thousands of islands and summer houses. Beautiful and comfortable. But our 4 berth cabin on deck 8 was very run down and was right above the lounge where loud music was played all night. The cabin was not properly cleaned. On the ticket it said that the ferry was to arrive 06.10, but we did not arrive until 07.30. This could preferably have been announced so we could have slept longer, or at least let the luggage stay in the cabin......
"Ferry crossing Turku Stockholm"
We had a very nice cabin on board and the facilities were very good. All in all, a successful trip.
"A happy tourist"
This was a nice experience to travel with Silja Line. I can recommend everyone to travel on Silja Line...
"Silja Line Turku to Stockholm"
A beautiful route to take through the Aland Islands. On time, good food and service. Good room. Would thoroughly recommend if you have time. Arrive at port early with time to visit Turku Castle.
"Baltic Princess"
Short turn round time meant staff still cleaning cabins when you get on board. Other than that clean and efficient especially at the price. Free wifi, learn dfds.
"Good trip"
The staff were fantastic, and the facilities and cleanliness were impeccable. I was really impressed.
"A beautiful sea journey for a good price"
We were travelling from Turku to Stockholm on the Baltic Princess. The ferry is quite big, it has all the necessities you might need on the ship - bars with evening program and disco, tax free shop (which is actually much cheaper than the airport one),etc. We had the cheapest cabin but it was still nice and tidy, with TV and clean bathroom. All the announcements are in languages including English. The staff was also friendly and helpful.
"experience "
Enjoyed crossing
"Travel with night ferry from Turku to Stockholm"
I had a private cabin high up. I was not disturbed by people in the cabins next to me, but more by loud people in the corridor during the night. Lovely to be able to use the wifi!
"Noisy"
Everything was organised for an excellent crossing: cabin, seafood platters at the restaurant. However, because of some people with a Saturday night fever partying, it was impossible to sleep. I will do it again, but not on a Saturday night.
"nice ride "
to look all day through the archipelago, there was always something, weather was just cool, but then nice sunny.
"gladly again "
The ship is clean on the go. The food is excellent, but in my opinion a bit too expensive. € 11 for a breakfast, but you can take as much as you want. Both times, so in return ride was the ship on time. If you are flexible with the data, you can also book very cheap ferries for themselves. Recommend the ferry.
"Just a ferry"
Both trips were efficient and reasonably comfortable. The buffet was manic but plenty of food and good value for money. The grill was a better experience if a little more expensive. The cabins were small but adequate including a surprisingly good shower. It was unfortunate that access to the limited open decks meant braving the plethora of smokers. On the return journey much of the open deck was closed - not sure why.
"A big hit with the kids"
We took both the Galaxy and Baltic Princess between Stockholm and Turku. Our kids age 7, 6 and 4 LOVED it from the ball room to the portholes to the grill restaurant to our mini adjoining cabins. They called it a cruise. It was a smooth ride both ways and we as a family were nicely separate from any parties who might have disrupted our way. The breathalyser going into the Stockholm port was a bit surprising though. Clean, adequate food ( the appetizer and dessert buffet combo was a pretty good deal), décor in good state, and small but adequately comfortable cabins which managed to tuck in a decent sized shower. Downsides: arrival was very early on each end and the departure scene was pretty chaotic especially for car passengers. Service in the restaurant was a bit inattentive. Would have liked an in transit map to be available on the TV in the cabin, along with a clock that could have helped avoid confusion about time zone changes and wifi. But overall a positive experience.
"everything was great "
great ship with good service, I would book again immediately
"All well and easily "
Smooth check, filed on time, arrived on time, breakfast buffet is nothing special
"Such a lovely break"
After been travelling around 300 miles in the north of Sweden, Kiruna, Happaranda, Kukolaforsen, Wasa and Åbo. A period of 14 days. It felt like heaven walking for me and my wife in to a double bed cabin with a window where you could watch the sea, in the cabin it was even a drink waiting for us and a free breakfast voucher. So nice!
"Satisfaction"
We made two beautiful crossings between Stockholm and Turku. We had a blast. Next time, we'll try Stokholm to Tallin ou Riga. Next year, we'll probably make the crossing between Napoli and Palermo. We didn't try the restaurants, but had a pique nique and it was great!
"Tallink Stockholm to Turku and back"
Timeliness and efficiency of loading excellent. We travelled one way during the day, and back overnight. The day journey is a lovely cruise up the coast of Sweden, visiting the Aland Islands, and going through the S.W. Finland archipelago. Compared with the ships some 10 years ago, the present ones have very little open deck space which was a disappointment. Good choice of restaurants, and good shopping. The outside cabin was very nice, and not noisy. Overall a very pleasant experience; and much better value for money than the North Sea ferry from Harwich to Esbjerg.
"Baltic Princess "
Beautiful crossing through the Finnish archipelago!
"Alexander's review"
I can say that the trip with Tallink Silja has met my expectations: everything was in time and on time. The company provides everything to make the trip comfortable and safe. The personnel are friendly, the fees are reasonable. I am planning to use the same route and the same carrier during my next trip from Turku to Stockholm next summer. I would recommend the route and the company to my friends and acquaintances. I appreciate the service very much.
"Congratulations"
The crossing was excellent. Congratulations on the cabins. We were a family of six and everyone liked the layout.
"An up to standard company"
Everything went great, constant animations on board, a professional service.
"Who wants to see something is right on the Silja "
The crossing of the Silja was a dream and even in bad weather. The food in the restaurants, the morning buffets and convince the drinks. The staff is very friendly and would go again with Silja.
"Tallink Silja is Ok"
We booked the Turku-Stockholm night-boat in advance via internet,no problems. Route information in Turku to the Incheck at the harbour is clearly signed. Incheck without printed reservation was no problem, this took only 2 minutes. On board, the cabin was just cleaned and OK. At night you should consider some young (and older) people spending the night drinking and talking loud. going off board is communicated clearly, also in English. Remember to enjoy the leave and arrival at either Turku and Stockholm, esspecially at sunset and Sunrise!
"Organisation"
A good organisation to board the cars, but a bad organisation for the boarding of passengers. No information regarding the location of the cabins.
"Great Crossing "
The check-in went without any problems. Since our booked cabin was fully booked, we were upgraded. It was a great deluxe outside cabin with stunning views. After breakfast, we arrived on time in Stockholm. Round we were very satisfied and would always travel with Tallink Silja.
"Pleasant trip"
An excellent service, fast and affordable if compared, for example, with a trip from Barcellona to Civitavecchia (2 people + car). Very pleasant entertainment with a show and WiFi service available everywhere onboard. Only flaw: the restaurant menu is very expensive and you can't sit in the restaurant with your partner unless you purchase both a meal.
"Kudos "
The 11 hours ferry transfers were very pleasant. Super: buffet breakfast, rooms, entertainment, shopping. The price can not be beat. We have paid, for example, for Trelleborg-Rostock with the Stena Line for a much shorter drive 60% more.
"Moomins ahoy"
Children's entertainment with the moomin show was brilliant fun! More seating that is not in the bar areas would be good. Good food in the cafeteria and reasonably priced. Helpful staff at information desk.
"Transfer Finland - Sweden "
everything was great
"Turku - Stockholm "
A calm relaxing journey. Very good value breakfast buffet. Great scenery. It would be better if there were more relaxing seats in quiet areas and no smoking on the exterior decks. More information about the route and the islands that can be seen and the wildlife would make this an even better experience.
"Bravo"
J'ai voyagé entre Turku et Stockholm avec Tallink Silja sur le Baltic Princess.
"Hard seats!!"
We took the day ferry from Turku to Stockholm to enable us to see the views and we were not disappointed although there is more to see around the Stockholm archipeligo than the Finnish ones. The ferry itself was comfortable we ate in the cafeteria but there was limited food options there - we had breakfast and lunch and there was not much difference to choose from! As the weather was decent we opted to sit outdoors but the only seating available were hard benches. For a day ferry which takes approx 11 hours sunbeds/loungers or softer seat options would have been of much benefit. With this counting as one of our relaxation days on our trip we were disappointed with the seating options. The storage locker facility onboard was very welcome as were were concerned that we would have to have our luggage with us all day.
"Nice trip, beautiful ship "
The trip from Stockholm to Turku was a sheer pleasure The weather was not too nice, but one Could enjoy the Thousands of islands passing by. We had not booked a cabin but would consider this for the next trip:.. It lasts 11 hours and there is little space to sit and relax on board. And there is a amazingly high number of smokers. Some of the saftety equipment had painted on them: next function test June 2013 Hmm, the trip was in July 2013 What does not qualiy manual say..? We still felt safe and comfortable.
"Too quick of a turnover"
My main complaint is that the ship only has one hour at port. That means that you have to be ready to leave your cabin before 6 am, when the ship arrives. It was hard enough to sleep on the ship - there are people in the halls making noise, and because of the quick turnaround time, the staff cleaned empty cabins throughout the night. That meant we were woken up by the sound of a vacuum at 4 am. So don't expect to get a sound sleep.
"Stockholm to Tallin"
Excellent ferry i cant recommend this enough to anyone.
"Good and cheap "
Good to very good - Detailed rating below
"Helsinki/Tallinn"
Everything went smoothly. It's a professional company. However, nothing is duty free at the duty free!
"by suomi "
Very pleasant crossing. The on-board team was friendly. The prices for food and drink in the restaurants were very expensiveexcept for the cafeteria
"Fantastic! "
I found this trip more than good, and the price of a deck passenger, even a little left over for the TAX Free shop. Rarely had such a good time, like on your ferry. Thank Mycket tack! and Kittos! I have enjoeyed the voyage on board ...! Thanks a lot! Greetings from Berlin!
"Transport"
We choosed to travel on the day to explore the archiepialgo and it was amazing. Our mistake was not to book a cabin, in the end it was quite tiring. Next time! Othervise everything was good, good breakfast, superb lunch and amazing staff!
"A great ferry!"
My group of three guys could not have asked for more. It was basically like staying on the land. Everything was there and prices were pretty reasonable on a Finnish/Swedish standard. We were particularly impressed by a number of choices for food. Very Scandinavian food. The sun deck was great and ferry staff was very kind. It was a bit pricey for one night though. But we had a car with us so I guess it was not too bad. For a small pugeot, we paid 270 euros, 90 euros each (not including food and other paid facilities).
"Satisfied with my booking. "
We are really happy with our quick and easy booking. The condition of the ferry was ok. I wished it had a spa. The staff was really nice and welcoming. The food from the resturant Lobster was super good. We strongly recommend this journey.
"Stockholm-Turku in ferry with Tallink Silja "
We boarded this ferry as pedestrians. The organisation was excellent, the cabins spotless. The atmosphere aboard is amazing: there are even wedding parties! The landscape is gorgeous with thousands of islands passing before your eyes. The food at the restaurant was good (self-service buffet). Remember to book a table early. It's a pity that the upper deck was close.
"Pleasant way to get to Finland"
We thoroughly enjoyed our trip aboard the ship to Turku. All worked like clockwork. There were plenty of options for food and plenty of place to sit and relax away from the crowds. We would certainly do it again and felt it was very good value for money. Thanks The O'Reillys
"24/06/2013"
Arriving at the ferry terminal at 2 am (several hours early due to a forced last minute change of plans and a mad dash through Europe) I wasn't sure where I was supposed to go, or wait, as the terminal is being upgraded and the direction signs were a little confusing (though correct). However, the staff on the ferry were brilliant - I can fudge my way through a little Finnish, but they all spoke high level English, and came to my rescue. My journey was supposed to be to Stockholm via Denmark, but an earlier ferry crash meant that it was then from a different ferry terminal in the UK then through France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, etc. This resulted in no phone battery after changing my route, and a panic as there are no payphones in Europe. Anywhere (and nobody will let you use a phone in a petrol station). The staff at the information desk let me use their phone charger (mine conveniently stopped working) and their phone, briefly. They made a huge difference to my journey, and to my family who were incredibly worried about my lack of contact and sole 30 hour-mad-dash-drive to Stockholm. Thank you so much to the helpful staff there, it made a huge difference to one very tired traveller. I will definitely travel on this line again in the future as a result of their helpfulness and kindness. I can't thank the staff enough for this. I slept most of the crossing, so I didn't eat in the restaurant and I can't give a review for catering, but the ship was clean, on time (I was very tired, so it seemed on time to me) and had a bed and shower in the cabin, which were my main concerns.
"Tallink Silja"
I had a lovely sunny 11 hours crossing from Turku to Stockholm. The ship was spacious and comfortable. I certainly recommend this journey on Tallink Silja.
"Recent Stockholm-Turku "
Excellent journey on board, cannot fault anything i will be back.
"Trip..."
It was a good boat trip, everything was well organized. What was not so good ...internet connection and and the drunk people who were really drunk!
"Very satisfied"
The crossing was great! We are very satisfied. It is a nice and clean ship, service is very friendly, cabins are spacious and tidy. We have fun dancing with a band, very nice. Highly recommended.
"Good service"
There was an error with my reservation, so I was without a cabin, but it went very smooth and easy to get a cab at no extra cost. I think that was good service.
"Polite staff"
Not many people on board, great weather, pleasant crossing, polite staff.
"Enjoyable trip (UK visitor)"
I had never been on one a ferry before so had no idea of how many facilities they provide, something for everyone. In particular I had never seen the type of variety performance, I wished I had not been travelling solo so I could have got up and danced! I travelled from Stockholm to Turku on a cold but sparkling April day and the views were spectacular. I was travelling on foot with a large case (i did eventually find the baggage room) and if I had known that there are not really any lounging passenger seats, I would have booked a cabin. There is plenty to eat, see and do but if you need a quiet spot and a comfortable seat to snooze in.... not so easy to find. Next time I will know. But I did enjoy a very well made cocktail in the Piano Bar , plus free WiFi. All in all I can't wait for the return trip. In case the stars below change, every time I change lines, the number of stars change so i would award the ship 5 stars in almost everything, I was most impressed.
"Super crossing"
Nothing to complain about! Shop was there on time and contained numerous shops, restaurants and cafes. During the day disco is music free and full of comfortable sofas so a good place to relax.
"Trip from Turku to Stockholm"
Went to directferries.fr to book our night crossing between Turku and Stockholm. The crossing changed after we had booked it, but fortunately directferries informed us before the trip. On arrival at Turku, no problem at all. The ferry was very nice on board with shower and toilet in our double cabin. Loads of restaurants and shops, a disco and wifi too. All in all very pleased and will use directferries for our next trip abroad.
