Salamanca is the second of our brand new ships designed especially for our Portsmouth to Spain routes. Following her sister ship Galicia, alongside sumptuous comfort and modern facilities, Salamanca will showcase some of the very best of Spain, with décor inspired by her vibrant city namesake. On board, Salamanca’s decks will take you on a journey inspired by the magnificent city itself, as well as Spain’s coast and countryside. You’ll find light and spacious public areas, modern shopping, plenty of deck space and, of course, well-appointed cabin accommodation. To indulge you on your journey, Salamanca’s cabins (like Galicia) have the biggest bunks within the fleet, topped with our most comfortable mattress - not to mention a TV with free Video On Demand service. Prepare your tastebuds! Salamanca will serve a range of authentic Spanish dishes - including a tantalising selection of tapas in our very own Taberna. Our ships are like art galleries at sea. Continuing with this long-held tradition, Salamanca will host beautiful Spanish works inside and out, and more besides.
Find your own private sanctuary with our choice of cabins. They’re perfect for a comfortable night's sleep (or a quick siesta!) and always have an ensuite bathroom so you can freshen up whenever you want. Choose from wheelchair accessible to pet friendly, to 2/4 berth cabins. With Video On Demand available (VOD) on the cabin TV, as well as throughout the ship, a cabin is a great space to keep the kids occupied. Our newest ship, Salamanca also has the biggest and most comfortable beds in all our fleet.
Aboard Salamanca, there’s a fantastic choice of different places to eat and drink whether you want a full meal or a light snack. Choose from Restaurant Azul, Taberna de Tapas, Plaza Mayor or the Commodore C-Club Lounge.
Enjoy some retail therapy at our boutique in the heart of the ship. Whether you’re stocking up your favourite perfume (or perhaps discovering a new one), in need of magazines and books, souvenirs, or fancying trying a tipple or two to take home from our wine cellar, you’ll want to spend a little while browsing here.
What should you do when the sun is shining and the weather is perfect for sailing? Head for deck 10 of course. It’s time to catch some rays! Our sun deck is the place to be for sun-bathing - and for whale watching. But if you feel like more action, there’s also sports equipment to try. And your kids can have fun too, thanks to Salamanca’s outdoor play area. On board there’s video on demand (VOD) service throughout the ship. Connect your device using our onboard Wi-Fi, settle in with your earphones and enjoy a great selection of films, radio and TV shows. You can also use this service on your in-cabin TV.
Head for the indoor kids’ play area if you need to keep the little ones busy. There’s one inside the main restaurant, hosting digital games and physical activities, and another outside the bar.
