"Smooth trip"
Excellent service with Irish Ferries
"Reguliere reiziger"
"GOOD IN GENERAL "
The ferry was better than what we’ve used before and much more affordable than most ferries. Loved tge kids play area and comfortable seats.
"Stress"
Not a plain sailing in return, we where delayed last minute no apologies no nothing, some missed their ferry due to border controls, No communication from the staff on what will happen to those passengers, all we had was a very rude staff member shouting!! On boarding , some cars decided to push in and pass everyone that was waiting to be allowed in , the staff nearly lost control of the situation!
"dover calais crossing - 2/08/2023"
We found our crossing most agreeable, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and willing to answer any of our questions.
"Very good service and thanks Irish ferries "
All the staff we met were friendly and helpful. Boarding instructions were clear and easy to follow. The ferry was clean and had a good restaurant and duty-free shop
"Dover Calais With Irish Ferries"
Outward bound trip was better than return. The vessel was larger with better facilities. The return vessel had an open car deck and a much smaller passenger structure above. As a result the facilities were small and poor. There is some kind of irony when the bar staff of Irish Ferries don't know how to serves a Guinness! As an industry you really need to start lobbying Customs and Passport Control on the French side, we were queuing in our car for nearly 2 hours. No stopping places or restrooms, dog cooking in the boot. Really poor.
"Great service"
We had great service helpful staff, we arrived early for our crossing incase of traffic and queues and were then offered an earlier departure ferry which was great, could be a bit cleaner in places but not what didn’t expect from a day ferry, I would use again
"Disappointing "
Pushed to next ferry despite arriving an hour early which meant nearly three hours waiting at Calais port
"French crossing"
Pretty good service all round. Staff have always been friendly and happy. A nice welcome is always good
"Terrible "
Terrible
"Very good service "
Good all time
"Birthday trip to Paris"
Staff was really helpful! Especially the gentleman at check in!!!
"Satisfactory"
Dover to Calais the ship was grotty. I didn't care as I slept. Calais to Dover was a more modern ship which was far more comfortable and attractive.
"Irish Ferries"
Very Clean , punctual and polite staff with comfortable seating . Much better than P& O
"Customer service "
This is the worse ferry website to book a ticket cause if in case u have to manage ur booking directferry charges are very high and as many time you does every time u have to pay the charges and their is no customer service on a phone if you want a peacefully journey avoid this site completely dodgy instead this site book irish ferry with very reasonable price and change ur tickets dates on very low price infact some time they do free 1 phone call.
"General overview"
I am pleased that at last there is some serious competion for P+O DFDS etc. Irish ferries operate a very good service which I will be using again!
"Back home "
Beautiful view from the boat!
