Along with its sister ship the Bencomo Express, Bentago Express operates a frequent service to and from the capitals of Gran Canaria and Tenerife. Bentago Express has a passenger capacity of 880 and can carry 230 vehicles. On board amenities include, bars, a boutique and a well-lit lounge.

This was our first trip by ship in ocean and I have to admit that it was very pleasant even thou sometimes I felt scary because of strong waves. Crew was fine and helpful.

Good way to travel. The Agaete harbour is much better accessible and easier to get to than the Las Palmas harbour. Only downside is that there does not seem to be an outside area where you can stand on deck and the windows are covered with a kind of plastic layer that prevents you making decent photos. Did see a pilot whale. Catering is quite limited on board.

The service was very good however they make you park your cars so close together I couldn't get my 88 year old father out the car without him having to limbo out, then shuffle between cars to the stairs, there was no elevator so he had to walk up and down stairs.

We experienced a trouble free crossing in both directions in comfortable conditions. The help of the crew on the return journey was exceptional taking care of my husband who had broken his leg and had to come on board on a wheel chair. Excellent care and attention.

We really liked the boat and the trip also. We're not young, I really felt good on the helpfulness of staff. Would highlight the service from Las Palmas to Agaete free bus took us to the boarding place. It is a pity that those who are not familiar with the local conditions, not to call the attention of: do no need to bring up the heavy packages in the passenger compartment can be placed in a locked compartment when boarding, which can be removed immediately, as he gets out of the way. But the staff also helped in the carry too. We can only recommend everyone who requires a comfortable, reliable, fast connections between the islands. Thank you.

"Overtocht Santa Cruz naar Agaete"
De reis aan boord was geweldig. Het klantvriendelijkheid personeel zorgde goed voor ons etc ... Maar we hadden één groot probleem: wij konden de vertrekplaats in santa cruz niet vinden. Het heeft ongeveer 40 minuten geduurd voordat wij daar achterkwam. Negatief puntje is dat er totaal geen wegbewijzering is in de vertrekhaven. Dit kan zeker worden verbeterd. Gelukkig op tijd de boot gehaald, alwas het op het nippertje.

Very little information about how to get to the port so i got lost. The port is far from Las Palmas and i wanted to travel on the first ferry of the morning but wasn't possible. Ship itself was ok.

the trip was easy to book online, punctual, efficient, quick and the boarding and unloading were well managed. The crew were courteous, helpful well presented, and professional. The buffet service was good, and we saw one of the buffet staff help passengers when they were having difficulty carrying their tray The ship was well maintained and clean but some of the soft furnishings (seat cushions) appeared to be worn and frayed and the hand drier in one of the toilets was not working

Very good service, worth every penny, gives one a chance to visit the other islands in the canaries whilst on holiday, will be using this service again in October and there after. Book with confidence!!

Everything went smoothly, the ferry was on time, the crossing was quick and confortable. The catering was reasonably priced. The only problem is that the staff organising the parking of the cars is Spanish speaking only. It's sometimes difficult to understand what they say. There are no outer decks, it's a shame, because we would have liked to enjoy the view.

Estoy feliz que visité la puerta de Las Palmas una semana antes, porque es posible que no hubiera podido encontrar la punta de salida de Fred Olsen en hora el dia 18. Soy peaton, y tenia que caminar 20 minutos desde la estación de guaguas de Santa Catalina. Una sugerencia: los carteles de Fred Olsen en las oficinas deberian ser más grandes, para que se puedan ver más facilmente de lejos. El viaje mismo (en ambas direcciónes) me encantó. Me parecia que el catamarán era de buena calidad y velocidad.

The ferry was on time and not crowded, there was plenty of room on board. Toilets were clean. Only the food offer and drinks could be expanded, otherwise everything was great.

We left and arrived late. On the way back, we left on time but we arrived late.

I arrive at the lockers where I can store my suitcase so that I don't have to drag it on board. It requires a 1 Euro coin, but I only have 50 cent coins. So I ask a member of staff if he can change. He walks with me all the way and stows my case in a locker and puts a euro in it for me, but my case is just too big so it needs to go in a different locker. But that also wouldn't fit, so he searched for another locker, which finally fit my suitcase. I express my gratitude to the man and want to give him my 50 cent coins... but he would not have any of it. So, with a friendly smile on his face he paid for my luggage locker ... how is that for a nice start of a journey?
