"Rude and unhelpful Fred Olsen office staff "
Inexplicable problem at Fred Olsen ticket offices in both Los Cristiano's and Santa Cruz, La Palma, details too long to record here.
"Great ferry"
Great ferry, smooth sailing from Los Christianos to La Palma
"Très confortable comme transport maritime"
Très satisfaite
"Los Christianos to San Sebastian"
Everything was excellent , from booking , boarding, staff and experience
"Fred Olsen ferry los cristianos to santa cruz de la palma."
the boat was very clean, coronavirus precautions were scrupulously observed and the staff were very helpful. My only criticism is that there was a lack of information and helpful signage at the ferry ports.
"Great service but passenger accommodation could be given an upgrade"
Great service; timely, great staff, clean and efficient but the flooring, seats etc could do with a refurb. All a bit old and tired. Thanks anyway for the service!
"Fine trip, nice and quiet"
Good way to travel. The Agaete harbour is much better accessible and easier to get to than the Las Palmas harbour. Only downside is that there does not seem to be an outside area where you can stand on deck and the windows are covered with a kind of plastic layer that prevents you making decent photos. Did see a pilot whale. Catering is quite limited on board.
"Newcomers helped some by staff"
This was our first experience with ferries in the Canaries. Fred Olsen was quite adequate to our needs. However, our original booking was changed without full explanation. I was glad that they sent an advance notice about it, but the explanation did not get to the detail I wanted: upon discussion with ticket agents, I learned that the ship would not sail as scheduled because some kind of maintenance was required. It meant a delay of our trip by more than 3 hours (an adjustment which rippled to our destination rental car and lodging). I was disappointed that there seemed not to be a provision for securing luggage in advance of boarding. We arrived 4 hours early, in hopes that the reason for the cancellation of our trip was due to the boat being over-full. So, we were effectively chained to our 5 pieces of luggage, and unable to use the time for any tourist activity in the town adjacent to the port. When the baggage cart arrived, the containers were marginally smaller than two of our suitcases, which had to be crammed into the space. The next scheduled ship was on time. On-board, it was not immediately obvious that the great majority of the seats were not "reserved". We could sit almost anywhere, except in the "gold club" section. There were other special sections that we eventually realized: children's section and TV section and bar section. Also, there was an internet service which travelers could access to play computer games on the ship's web site. I wanted a seat with a view, but it didn't much matter, since the windows were so dirty and wet that we couldn't see clearly what was happening outside, anyway. I was hoping to take some photos, and never found an unobstructed view of the landscapes or seascapes we passed by. I never found a way to go outside onto the deck while we were underway. Of course, walking around was a challenge when we were underway because of the sway of the ship. That sway was likely greater because we were on a deck above the huge ferry cargo area which seemed big enough to carry railway gondolas. The passenger ramp at the beginning and end of the trip consisted of dozens of stairs, rather than an elevator. I asked how the staff would deal with a wheelchair patient, but my Spanish was not sufficient to get an answer. I was directed to other staff who might be proficient enough in English. I still wonder if we senior citizens missed a chance to ride an elevator. Carrying the hand-bags up so many stairs was a challenge for anyone of such advanced age as ourselves. I was pleased to get a complimentary bus ride from Agaete to Las Palmas, but found it difficult to learn (in English) how to make the connection from the Fred Olsen bus to the island bus system. It involved walking (with the luggage) approximately 200 meters past a city block of obstructing buildings to the escalators down to an underground bus station below a park. I saw an elevator sign, but never found it, so the luggage was once more a challenging factor.
"Ferry"
All in all a good ferry to travel with except the parking is packed so tight it's hard to get in and out the vehicle
"Boat trip"
Easy check in, comfortable journey, internet access and facilities to load electronic devices, easy boarding and quick exit at destination All in all, very recommenable
"Ferry needs upgrades "
The service was very good however they make you park your cars so close together I couldn't get my 88 year old father out the car without him having to limbo out, then shuffle between cars to the stairs, there was no elevator so he had to walk up and down stairs.
"Easy booking"
Had problems trying to book using Olsens website and also when I called their offices direct. It was so much easier and better when I called Direct Ferries, they made the whole booking process very simple and understandable. Thanks for a great service.
"satisfaction"
WE TRAVELLED IN 4 WITH A CAR. ALL WAS REALLY EASY, FROM THE BOOKING ONLINE TO THE PUNCTUALITY OF THE SHIP, TO THE FAST OPERATIONS OF BOARDING AND LANDING. THANKS
"Excellent journey"
Really nice trip, I recommend it to all!
"Excellent help for Disabled"
We experienced a trouble free crossing in both directions in comfortable conditions. The help of the crew on the return journey was exceptional taking care of my husband who had broken his leg and had to come on board on a wheel chair. Excellent care and attention.
"ALL OK"
PROBLEMS WITH THE CAR, WE COULD NOT RENT ONE IN GRAN CANARIA, AND WE COULD NOT TRANFER TO ANOTHER ISLAND (TENERIFE) we discovered that the company offer the service from they office at the port. Thank. PS. It was a bit expansive for only an 1 crossing. We did not use restaurants and bar, but all looked well organised.
"My First Ferry Ride"
This was my first ever ferry ride and I was fairly excited. I printed the tickets and directions to the port from Direct Ferry and on the day used google maps but it seemed the address was too vague and I couldn't get to the right port in Santa Cruz, I had to get another taxi to get me to right port and almost missed the ferry. The journey was comfortable though the interior was a bit sloppy and we got to Agaete 30 minutes late. Ferry service 3 star direct ferry - 4 star
"Perfect"
We really liked the boat and the trip also. We're not young, I really felt good on the helpfulness of staff. Would highlight the service from Las Palmas to Agaete free bus took us to the boarding place. It is a pity that those who are not familiar with the local conditions, not to call the attention of: do no need to bring up the heavy packages in the passenger compartment can be placed in a locked compartment when boarding, which can be removed immediately, as he gets out of the way. But the staff also helped in the carry too. We can only recommend everyone who requires a comfortable, reliable, fast connections between the islands. Thank you.

All the best!
"Boat trip Agaete to Tenerife"
Well cared for. Purchased the ticket on the internet.
"free bus"
A very good crossing. It's a shame that we weren't informed that the bus from Agaete to Las Palmas was free.
"Relax"
The perfect way to travel between the islands, short duration, quiet atmosphere on board, it gets you the other islands very quickly.
"Everything SUPER! "
It was really comfortable to have to travel with you. Friendly and helpful staff ready and courteous staff facilitated me (am a land-locked countries) to understand the process on a ferry. Thank you! Ps: A small Smokerlounge would be cool.
"Ferry from Tenerife to Gran Canaria "
I was pleased with the ship. The restless Atlantic, however, has significantly added to me.
"Okay! "
Everything was okay. It's to recommend!
"Absolutely trouble crossing between Tenerife and Gran Canaria "
The ferry shone with uncomplicated online booking, rapid and easy check in and very punctual journey times. The price / performance-ratio true in every case. the return journey in rough seas, the staff took care of touching and the numerous "sufferer" - as even seaworthy we could see this very consciously. Thank you!
"Ride Gran Canaria to Tenerife "
Everything went fine.
"Excellent Ferry, fast, clean , punctual."
this company offer excellent and punctual services.. Very good customer service .
"Efficiency "

"All great "
Everything ok! 'll Be back!
"Beautiful trip "
Great trip from Agaete/(Gran Canaria and Tenerife/Gran Canaria. Comfy and quick. I give it 5 stars Michelin. I hope all the best for 2014 from Juan At. Garcia.
"Drive from Agaete to Santa Cruz de Tenerife "
A really great, modern and comfortable ship. There were many ways to make the crossing pleasant. The way the luggage was kept, we found really great
"Satisfied "
I am satisfied with the quality of the service.
"It was a beautiful day "
The trip to Gran Canaria was very pleasant on the whole. On the ferry itself you do not notice the running time of 1:20 hrs A point was not so nice because you could not use to this day, the rear outside deck / allowed.
"Good overall quality"
Except for puctuality on arrival time, the rest was quite good.
"Punctuality and pleasure"
I discovered the crossing between the 2 islands online. Crossing from Agaete is great, because it's a small port, so you're less likely to get something wrong. For Santa Cruz de Tenerife, a better signposting would be good. Otherwise, the crossing was good.
