Going into service in 1999 the Isola Di Capraia is one of Tirrenia’s fast ferries, has a passenger capacity of 550 and can carry up to 57 cars. Amenities on board include a bar and automatic food dispensers.

Slightly chaotic boarding both sides and they had trouble accepting direct ferries paperwork but ok once we showed them their booking number. Comfortable seating. Good Value.

Travel was confortable, but instead of arriving at San Domino, as stated in the ticket, the ship arrived in the other island of San Nicola!! Very confusing! We could not find enough assistance at that point, someone said that we could board on a local transport for free with the Tirrenia ticket. After some discussion we paid a separate local transport ticket 2.50 eur and were able to reach San Domino. Tirrenia needs to improve clarity on destination island and people on the island can improve hospitality manners

Even with crutches I felt good, comfortable entrance, fast escalator, nice and comfortable seats. I did not have problem to move because it was not that much busy on board. Punctual ferry and even cafè service.
