Olbia Guide

What is there to do in Olbia?

A hidden gem among the array of coastal resorts lying along the shoreline of Italy, Olbia’s lack of popularity has become its primary selling point. It holds the quintessential feel of an old, Italian town but is still largely untouched by the gradual modernisation of tourism. Tourists are encouraged to sample vintage bottles of wine for remarkably cheap prices or indulge in another slice of pizza at one of the delicious restaurants; all whilst enjoying the sleepy vibe synonymous with the town. Before tasting all the sumptuous food, plenty of boutique shops are available, selling authentic gifts at an affordable price. Aside from shopping and eating, there is much natural beauty to be explored around the region: Porto Istana Beach and Spiaggia Rena Bianca offer wonderful views, gorgeous coastline and fascinating rock formations. If that isn’t enough then the San Pantaleo is arguably the standout landmark in a town inundated with history and culture. Olbia, quite simply, has something to satisfy the desires of every visitor.

How do visitors get around Olbia?

The town is so small that it is possible to cover the entirety of it by foot in less than a day, which is a desirable option considering the quaint streets and rustic buildings.
