"Dog unfriendly "
We’re family of four travelling with our dog Luna who is an equal part of our family. She is very clean and extremely friendly dog. On the ferry we were however not allowed to stay together. We were told to bring her to the dog place, which is on top of the deck space with small cages, very loud and smelly and far away. It is heartless and I believe against animal rights, to expert anyone to do that.

We rescheduled our journey and Minoan amended our booking for a day earlier without any bother or cost. Everything ran smoothly from boarding to disembark. Nice cabin, ample food choices with huge “truckers” portions all at reasonable prices made the whole crossing experience most enjoyable.

A smooth, overnight journey in what was a nice cabin. The toilet however did not flush. The ferry was up to time which was excellent.

Good trip from Milos to Crete. Tried to sleep but the ceiling on the 2nd floor was very noisy and shaking intermittently the entire trip. Very clean and facilities were very good.
"A great way to travel to Crete"
This overnight journey from Athens to Crete was perfect. The ship had everything on it we needed and was modern and well maintained. The room was a good size and spotlessly clean (3 berth ensuite internal Cabin). Myself and my two children slept really well and awoke in Crete ready to start the second leg of our holiday. I would suggest allowing plenty of time to collect your tickets before you board as there were long queues and this was very stressful as I’d cut it tight on time.

Journey was very comfortable, with good food, nice shops and very clean, comfortable cabin. Staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient too.

Lovely cabin and staff were polite and helpful. It was an overnight crossing so didn't partake of the catering but the bed we had in the cabin was very comfortable. If you ever want to travel between Crete and Athens this is definitely a good option
"Minoan are Better "
If you have a little bit more to spend, ... then definitely go with Minoan because they are much better than the others. Small things make a big difference when traveling. Definitely worth the few extra $.

Hello everybody! I am pleased to let everyone know that our vacation in Crete had a perfect start and a perfect end thanks to Minoan Lines. We crossed the Aegean sea back and forth smoothly, aboard a state of the art ship. Words cannot encompas the feeling aboard mighty Festos Palace. I strongly recommend anyone willing to go to Crete by means of water to use the services of Minoan Lines. Also many thanks to Direct Ferries for providing us the reservation. Happy vacations to everyone!
"Nice journey"
Some of the on board facilities have been converted to shops, which is a shame. We didn't use the on board catering so cannot comment on it. Otherwise was a great journey. Nice clean cabin and effective shower.

Excellent boat - couldn't even tell it was moving. Lots of room in the double berth size. Washroom ample. Well equipped boat - didn't try the food. Could stay on till 8am after docking. Would recommend. AAAA ++++
