The Panagia Skiadeni is one ship in a Dodekanisos Seaways fleet of three and is by far the largest. This car and passenger ferry has a maximum capacity of 700 in the summer season and 590 in the winter months. There is also a car deck with the capability of carrying up to 115 vehicles on each crossing. The top speed of this spacious car ferry is 17 knots.

"Trip to Symi island."
Hassle free trip . Very comfortable seating and lounge areas . Also we was informed of a departure change in very good time by txt . Definitely use them again .

Unfortunately our taxi took us to the wrong ferry terminal so we had a long walk to the right one. Staff took care of us showing us where to leave our luggage. The seats in the cabin were comfortable and the toilets excellent. We didn’t try the refreshments. It must be hard to keep the windows clean which is a shame because it spoils the views. Only 5 minutes late into Symi because of the headwind.

Would be helpful when booking a ferry transfer the passenger is informed from which port they are travelling from an example would be Rhodes with multiple departure points…… helps with taxi accurate directions

I and four friends took this ferry to Symi island. The ship left promptly and the sail was beautiful. We enjoyed moving around the ferry ad libitum and enjoying the beautiful environment. The ship is clean, organized and beautifully comfortable.

Traveled from Rhodes to Symi with Dodekanisos and had a great punctual service. I'd recommend you take the time to locate exactly where the ferry leaves from as it is not in the main harbour. Staff were helpful and my coffee was great. Facilities on board are spotless, maintained and very comfortable. Thanks.

"Day trip to Symi"
All went very smoothly and on time but it was a bit of a surprise to find that our return trip was not on the Express - something the girl in the office at Mandraki Port omitted to explain when I questioned the difference in travelling time between outward and return journeys-

Recently travelled from Rhodes to Symi then back the following week. Both services left on time, staff very friendly and helpful. The boats are extremely clean, cafe on board has food and drinks for sale at reasonable prices. Would definitely use the service again and recommend it to family and friends.
"Rhodes to Symi ferry"
Dodekanisos run the main ferry. It leaves from Akandia port, which is also called the commercial port. This is not made clear! Akandia is the furthest east of the 3 ports. I wanted to go direct, but the route was changed last minute and we went to the monastery first, so only got 3 hours in Symi's main town. Sailed on time, good facilities on the ferry. You would need to get there an hour early if getting the right seat is important to you. There is a new cafe near the ticket office at Akandia port.
"Very easy way to travel"
Everything was very easy from check in to boarding. The boarding was from the commercial port. It was very straightforward. Very comfortable ship.
