Canary Islands reviews

  • "Relaxed"

I arrive at the lockers where I can store my suitcase so that I don't have to drag it on board. It requires a 1 Euro coin, but I only have 50 cent coins. So I ask a member of staff if he can change. He walks with me all the way and stows my case in a locker and puts a euro in it for me, but my case is just too big so it needs to go in a different locker. But that also wouldn't fit, so he searched for another locker, which finally fit my suitcase. I express my gratitude to the man and want to give him my 50 cent coins... but he would not have any of it. So, with a friendly smile on his face he paid for my luggage locker ... how is that for a nice start of a journey?

Very good service at check-in: we were once again after the departure time call after the day before, but were able to check the same already and needed only later be for boarding on site. When we arrived, we were more or less immediately passed as the first on the ship because we had a "Golden Ticket". Then the actual embarkation was only going maybe coincidence we found it great. The service on board was good, in the gold-class drinks and snacks were included.

  • "Weekend Trip["

This was the first time on Fred Olsen express and I have to say firstly it was nice to be met with smiling faces at the office, the boat was spotless and very comfy even for a short trip, the ladies both on and off very helpful and with a smile, my only criticism is that it should be made a bit clearer somewhere that you need to get a boarding card on your way back even if you get a return as there was at least 16 people rushing to get a ticket after trying to board and then sent back to the office at Corralejo to get one or just give you a return ticket when booking but other then that we will use this service quite often now, Thank you.
