Adria Ferries

Adria Ferries provides trans-Adriatic services between Italy and Albania, from the Italian port towns of Ancona, Bari and Trieste to Durres, the second largest city of Albania.

Serving the long-standing maritime link between Italy and Albania, Adria Ferries was established in 2004, and has transported over two and a half million passengers and seven hundred thousand vehicles ever since. By 2014, the company was recognised as a market leader in ferry crossings between the two nations, operating one of the largest fleets in terms of total capacity.

Previously named Conero Riviera, AF Michela was the original vessel in the Adria Ferries fleet, holding over eight hundred passengers, while AF Claudia, one of the biggest ferries in the Adriatic Sea, can carry more than fifteen hundred passengers, boasting two hundred and eighty luxurious cabins. AF Francesa joined the fleet in 2009, in accordance to the newly introduced Bari-Durres route, followed by the ships AF Marina in 2012, and Aurelia two years after.

Adria Ferries Customer Reviews

  • "Satisfactory trip"

I really enjoyed with the trip on a ferry, everything went well. A bit of delays, but as I was not in a hurry it was complitely fine for me. The only one disappointing thing is long waiting time in Bari (around 2 hours), thus travellers exapecially not from EU should be prepared for that!

  • "Returning to Albania"

After a long, eventful trip to Italy, I returned via the Adria Ferries from Ancona to Durres. It was like being on a luxury cruise ship. The facilities were very clean, pleasing to the eye, and the staff quite helpful. The only "problem" was that the ferry arrived early and I had to get off. Hope to have the opportunity to travel again in the future

  • "Embarkation issues"

The staff was fabulous. The vessel was fine. The crossing was timely, pleasant and uneventful. The embarkation process in Bari was HORRIBLE!! The ticket office was far removed from the terminal with poor transportation provided. The luggage and passenger movement between the immigration hall and the ship was TERRIBLE. The passenger assistance from the dock to the reception on deck 6 was totally ABSENT. I would definitely recommend looking at this part of the process and overhauling it. I would think twice about re-booking because of it

  • "Ocena"

Ura izkrcavanja za motoriste ni veljala, smiselno bi bilo, da se potnike motoriste opozori, da se izkrcavajo zadnji, kar pomeni z zamudo.
