As you wake up overlooking the endless azure blue water of the Pacific Ocean, lazily chewing on the complimentary breakfast comprised of fresh ingredients, you’ll wonder if there’s anywhere as stunningly beautiful as Vomo Island resort. The complex consists of 28 villas and four luxurious residences, each one tightly hugging the white sands of the beach that are perfect for topping up your tan whilst sipping on a free beverage supplied by the staff. The constanyt supply of drink, accompanied by the delicious food is arguably the tastiest and most refreshing in Fiji, the flavours heightened by the views of the stunning scenery. How you spend your time at the oasis of tranquillity is up to you, the resort caters for every type of visitor; relax amidst the stunning surroundings, reading a book or browsing the free WIFI, or embark on a snorkelling adventure, with expeditions to reefs that are ideal for anyone with a penchant for underwater flora and fauna. If you prefer to work up a sweat on land, tennis courts are available to practise your groundworks, and if you want to be entertained in the evening, there is often traditional Fijian music and dancing.
Port Denarua is on a small private island in the northwest corner of Fiji’s mainland, Viti Levu. It is the main gateway to some of the beautiful islets along the northwest coast and is just twenty minutes from Nadi International Airport by car. It is considered the island’s finest marina facility, offering restaurants, a spa, a large supermarket and a wide selection of shops. You can also book tours and activities inside the terminal. There are a number of luxurious hotels on Denarau Island where you can relax overnight before your journey as well.
