As there are so many ferries that run to Venice, up to 48 in a single week, there is not one exact ferry timetable, especially as these ferries are coming from a variety of different destinations, such as the mainland of Italy, Greece, and Croatia. Ferry timetables are also affected by other factors such as seasonal changes, what route you are travelling on, and ferry operators, but here at Direct Ferries we will always provide you with the most up-to-date information regarding ferry sailings.
Ferry sail durations can be difficult to define, as they are defined by a number of factors, such as route, operator, and external factors such as weather conditions at the time of sail, so there is not one ferry duration. On average, ferry sail times can vary between 2 and a half hours, to 6 and a half hours, to 32 hours, very much depending on which ferry route you are sailing on.
How much the ferry to Venice costs is defined by a range of different aspects, from time of year, to which route you are travelling on, which ferry operator you are travelling with, and how you are travelling, such as by car or on foot, so there is not one exact ferry fare. Instead, we recommend checking out our handy fare finder tool, to find the best ferry at the best price for you, and be sure to sign up to our email newsletter to be the first to hear about our latest deals and offers.
The terminal at San Basilio is a small terminal, so there are not many facilities available here. There are toilets, check in desks, a few vending machines, as well as disabled access throughout the terminal, and seating areas whilst you are waiting for your ferry.
