Trapani Guide

What is there to do in Trapani?

Oftentimes used as a gateway to neighbouring coastal resorts, Trapani shouldn’t be overlooked as a holiday destination in its own right. Gorgeous natural formations decorate the coastline in a jagged stretch of beauty, perfect for indulging on a late night stroll amid the serene surroundings. The shores aren’t just alluring when the sun sets on the beautiful landscape, many tourists flock to the beaches in the middle of the afternoon to bask under the rays of the Mediterranean Sun and set their towel down on the pristine, golden sands. Aside from the coast, the small peninsula offers the most aesthetically pleasing and culturally rewarding facets belonging to the city; the harbour is an idyllic place to while away a few hours whilst enjoying some quintessential Italian cuisine, and the Baroque Centre affords an insight into the history of Trapani.

How do you get around Trapani?

The city is so small that much of it can be covered by foot, which is the desirable option considering the compact nature.
