Tokai Kisen's Tachibana Maru carries up to 1000 passengers on each of its journeys between Tokyo, Miyakejima and Hachijojima. The 118m long vessel comes with a range of cabin accommodation, a restaurant, vending machines, shower facilities and a children's play area.
A wide range of cabin options are available to suit everyone's needs and budgets. Travellers can choose from a Deluxe Cabin, Special First Class Cabins in both Japanese and Western style, First Class and Second Class rooms.
The ship contains a state of the art modern restaurant with a variety of local and international dishes. If you after a more informal snack, there are vending machines situated around the ferry.
Young voyagers are catered for with a special children's play room to help pass the time on their journey.
The ship is also adapted for those travelling with restricted mobility. The on board elevator provides a smooth journey from the entrance to the barrier free public areas.
