"I was very sick"
Crew very pleasant and helpful. Seats comfortable. Good refreshments. Smooth car parking. However inevitably due to choppy seas there was a lot of sickness. The food that my friends ate looked delicious.
"EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE "
Is my first time that I travel in ferry, very happy with the attention, excellent service, thank you very much
"Heysham-Douglas Crossing"
A very comfortable crossing to and from the Isle of Man. The outward journey was extremely busy but staff were very helpful in finding seating and and gave great service, cheerful at all times.
"good journey"
Very comfortable crossing, staff helpful and pleasant,I would use this service again if I needed to cross to the Isle of Man again. We did not use the catering service so cannot comment on that.
"Travelling to Isle of Man"
Clean boat, and left on time and a room specifically for pets. It was a very easy trip to make.
"Review"
Great experience. My son thoroughly enjoyed it. A quick and calm crossing both ways.
"Great trip"
We where in the Isle of Man for the TT races and my friend had mobility problems and I changed our ferry trip from the Saturday to the Friday one that goes direct to Liverpool instead of Haysham Port. So glad I did as I had a little accident and was on crutches also. The staff on the ferry where great and helped us to our seats.
"I O M Ferry"
Excellent service which we used for the first time-beats flying every time. We went for our daughters wedding and our guests used Liverpool or Heysham and were all impressed with the service.
"ferry to IOM"
Our trip on the ferry could not have been any better than it was easy to board great staff. every thing was like clock work, very clean and tidy, only one thing no chips in canteen,
"Very good service"
I used this service to go to the Isle of Man and was very pleased with the fast cat and the facilities I would recommend this company to everyone!!
"Excellent Staff "
I Would definitely use Steam Packet again as the staff are friendly and efficient. Everything run smoothly. Thank you.
"few days in Douglas"
Great trip sailing on time both ways and pleasant crew and helpful staff on board.
"Baggage hall @ Liverpool"
Return from Douglas getting baggage back needs a bigger space, otherwise every thing perfect.
"Our Ferry crossing too and from the Isle of Man"
Fast and comfortable crossing ,fully informed of progress, well directed getting the car on and off the ferry helpful staff.
"Good trip"
Our trip went very smoothly, boat was a bit late but that wasn't a problem for us. Onboard facilities were good, we watched a movie, had to tell some other rude passengers to stop talking so we could hear the movie, but that was not the fault of Steampacket.
"Happy traveller"
A great and friendly service on board the Steam Packet.
"Steam Packet Fast Cat Liverpool to Isle of Man"
The fast cat from Liverpool to Isle of Man was on time, very clean and very comfortable. There are lots of seats around the ship. Leaving the Isle of Man, the fast cat schedule had changed due to an engine problem. We were never informed of this by e-mail. Luckily we heard about it whilst on the island so we didn't waste the extra 45 mins delay. The sailing time was also extended so if you were catching a train it would have been a problem.
"Great crossing, no problems whatsoever."
The ship was punctual, clean, and fast; and the crew were helpful, polite, and cheery despite the early hour of the crossing (which is the only downside to the crossing in my view: with a 7am departure and the check-in 60 minutes prior, the crossing is made somwhat inconvenient, particularly for visitors situated outside of Douglas).
"Reasonable, punctual, and fast."
No problems whatsoever with the crossing: the ship was punctual, and the crew were friendly and helpful. The ship was clean and fast, the only possible downside I can think of is that the frequent security announcements (however necessary) momentarily interrupted the FIFA world cup game currently being shown on the many screens on board - in no way a big issue!
"Belfast to Isle of Mann and Isle of Mann to Liverpool"
Fortunately very calm seas both journeys, but happened to be on same boat both trips which meant I could not watch a film on both trips as one cinema was "out of action" and in the other the same film was shown on both journeys - a bit annoying when you want to watch a film to take your mind of your usual sea sickness. Otherwise boat OK, food being served looked OK and everything clean and comfortable.
"Liverpool to Douglas return"
Very good trip both ways but seriously frustrated that turning up to the port early both ways and with a 4 -5 hour car journey home we were one of the last off the ship.
"Great experience"
You will love this experience. The ship is clean the staff is friendly I plan to take this trip again.
"My crossing to Douglas"
I enjoyed my experience on boat as we were disabled foot passengers we found the ferries very helpful and am now confident of travelling this way again.
"Liverpool - IOM"
Ship was clean and comfortable and on time. Staff were polite. Very expensive to eat and drink on board and quality of the food was poor. I think this should be addressed especially as you are not allowed to bring your own onboard. Stairs used for boarding were very steep and my elderly nan did struggle. We later discovered there is a lift but this was not mentioned to us, at least we know for next time!
"Visiting relatives"
This was the cheapest was of getting two people to the IOM and have the added benefit of your own car at the other side.(As opposed to flying, airport parking and a hire car) The craft left slightly early each way and arrived well ahead of time. The food on board was good, if somewhat pricey. Getting on and off was both quick and easy. I have used this service before and will again.
"would recommend"
Excellent customer service by this company. Had to alter original booking because of illness. No problem in choosing an alternative date. Crew - particularly on the car decks - extremely helpful and courteous with a disabled member of our party.
"Fast Cat"
We arrived at Liverpool to travel to the Isle of Man on the Steam Packet fast cat,we are disabled and the service from the start was very good escorting us to the lift so that we had no steps to climb.we arrived in Douglas and the same service was available. On our return to Liverpool the service was still very good with the lift and disabled transport being on tap,the only problem that we encountered after collecting our cases was the steep slope up to the parking area which we found very hard work, hopefully if we travel on the ferry again this can be remedied.
"Great trip to the Isle of Man"
Very professional and professional. No fuss - just good service. Comfortable trip.
"Liverpool and Douglas with Steam Packet"
Slick, straight forward walk on /off 2 passengers, small suit cases. Comfortable seats, decent pint of beer, good food, good crossing, no complaints or problems. Thank you.
"It did the job!"
Our outward trip to Isle of Man from Liverpool was fairly unadventurous. We left 15 minutes early and arrived 15 minutes early :-. The passage was smooth and we had a pleasant time reading the paper. On the day of our return trip there were strong winds and we feared a choppy crossing. The Captain was very reassuring and although sick bags were handed out nobody actually appeared to be sick. In fact the crossing was pretty good, and even when the boat lurched it seemed to correct itself quite quickly. Again, we left and arrived early. Our only observation is that it is quite boring sitting on a boat for over 2 and 1/2 hours. The films on offer were too mainstream for our taste. A shame there was no way we could get on deck.
"A great experience "
The crossing with 2 motorcycles worked out fine, the instruction for the machine by the staff was friendly and patient. The staff on board were very friendly and helpful, the ship was clean. The next year will again traveled with Steam Packet, were unfortunately yes to the two big races always attracted the prices, so we will only transfer with one machine.
"Good service"
We enjoyed a trip to & from the Isle of Man. The staff were very courteous & helpful and there was plenty of room to wander about - much better than flying! We arrived early on both trips too.
"Very Good"
Nothing to report, perfect, except for an awfully high price
"Isle of Man journey"
My self & my wife have travelled over to The Isle of Man quite a few times by ferry each time we have thoroughly enjoyed our journeys, especially the catering and we have always found the staff to be very courteous and helpful at all times, why fly when you can have true comfort and an excellent restful journey!
