Shanghai Ferry
Shanghai Ferry offer an international ferry service connecting two of East Asia’s commercial and cultural centres – Osaka in Japan and Shanghai in China, all year round.
Shanghai Ferry utilises the vessel Su Zhou Hao for the long but fun-filled journey between Japan and China. Built in 1992, the ferry is 155 metres in length, can carry up to 272 passengers and travels around 21 knots between the two cities.
On board the ferry, you’ll find a variety of facilities such as an information desk, spacious passenger lounge, a duty-free shop with a selection of souvenirs, restaurants and public bath with a sea view. In terms of entertainment, you’ll find games machines in the game room as well as in the mahjong room to keep you occupied.
If you fancy a bite to eat, the cafeteria restaurant is available from morning until night while the special restaurant opens for dinner time only from 17:30 to 19:30. This restaurant turns in to a bar from 19:45 to 22:30 and Karaoke is available during this time. Both restaurants serve you tasty Japanese, Chinese and Western cuisine, and all at affordable prices.
There’s also a large choice of onboard cabin accommodation on offer to suit all budgets which ensures you arrive fresh at your destination.
