Peschici Guide

What is there to do in Peschici?

Whilst walking across the Arabic style streets, you could be forgiven for thinking you were wandering around a Middle Eastern country; whitewashed houses line the streets and towering landscapes define the land, though the relentless Mediterranean heat reveals the Italian heritage. The entire town is a hub of energy and vigour, especially in the summer months when Peschici becomes overwhelmed with tourists. The beach gets particularly busy as the temperature rises, though there are several beaches to choose from, offering the chance to sunbathe in relative peace. The temptation of gorgeous weather, clear blue waters and golden sands may prove too enticing during summer, so for a change of pace and scenery, it could be worth visiting when the air is cooler and the streets are emptier. A couple of museums can be found around the town, and for a taste of authentic wine, head to the array of vineyards and wineries that surround the centre. If wine isn’t enough to satisfy the taste buds, enjoy the delicious sea food served at the abundance of restaurants.

How do visitors get around Peschici?

The town is small enough to be covered entirely by foot, which is the desirable option in the warm weather.
