Nabua Lodge is one of the most luxurious resorts in Fiji, laying on the southern coast of Nacula Island as part of the Yasawa Island group. The only ferry route is a 4 hour 45 minute crossing to Denarau, providing the gateway to mainland Fiji. Nabua Lodge is the perfect location for a romantic getaway: the views are stunning, the weather is glorious and the beaches are perfect for lazy days in the sun. As well as couples looking to enjoy some tranquility in a serene environment, Nabua Lodge is also popular with backpackers and travellers looking to hop around Fiji on a budget. The attraction for backpackers lies in the activities on offer at the lodge: snorkelling, kayaking and cave tours are all ideal pastimes considering the beautiful surroundings and idyllic weather. For an enticing combination of tranquility and adventure, the island tours offer picturesque views alongside the opportunity to swim in the azure ocean and explore the exotic lands. After a day spent basking in the warm weather and lush scenery, the restaurant at the lodge serves delicious seafood fresh from the waters. The port of Nabua Lodge is found within walking distance of the resort, so guests can just pack their suitcases and head down to the ferry terminal.
Port Denarua is on a small private island in the northwest corner of Fiji’s mainland, Viti Levu. It is the main gateway to some of the beautiful islets along the northwest coast and is just twenty minutes from Nadi International Airport by car. It is considered the island’s finest marina facility, offering restaurants, a spa, a large supermarket and a wide selection of shops. You can also book tours and activities inside the terminal. There are a number of luxurious hotels on Denarau Island where you can relax overnight before your journey as well.
