The LNG-fueled ferry Sunflower Kamui Pirika, debuting on the route connecting Oarai in Tokyo aera and Tomakomai in Hokkaido, represents a new era of ferries that are gentle on both the environment and people. By using LNG fuel, it reduces environmental impact. The ferry's gross tonnage has been expanded to approximately 1.4 times that of its predecessors, improving loading capacity while also offering well-equipped passenger cabins, ensuring a comfortable travel experience.
All rooms are private, lockable cabins, designed to ensure your personal space and comfort. For your convenience, paid refrigerated lockers are available in the public area. Each room is equipped with power outlets (please note that high-power devices such as hairdryers and flat irons are not permitted). Shared facilities include restrooms and a large communal bath. Additionally, bath towels are available through a paid rental service. Feel free to take advantage of this service for a more comfortable stay.
Please Note: Whilst we have taken great care in making our Sunflower Kamui Pirika guide as accurate as possible, onboard facilities, services and entertainment may vary depending on the date and time of year that you travel, facilities mentioned may change without notification and ferry companies reserve the right to operate vessels other than those mentioned at time of booking without prior notification.
