Very pleasant sailing on a clean, modern ship with good catering and comfortable seating and passenger areas.

Everything was great on board and very clean. Staff was lovely too!
"Cancelled "
The journey was cancelled but we didnt receive an email to tell us. Have rebooked to travel today. Strange that I've had an email to ask how the journey was yesterday!
"Easy journey"
Good punctual service.nice clean ferry. Office was closed night b4 so went early and got ticket printed for extra 2 euro. Service was fine and easy
"Better than other companies tried."
The ferry was late which affected the next part of our trip. However, we had booked Club Class and the facilities were as expected with room to sit or walk about without affecting other passengers.
"Mini cruise"
Took the ferry from Santorini to mykonos, the 4 hour journey was just like being on a cruise, plenty of lounges and sun decks . 5 star at a budget cost
"Effortless "
Lovely ship with great facilities
"Feed-back "
Just, very difficult to find our places
"Grreat service"
The ship was punctual and immaculately clean, the crew were friendly and helpful, would recommend Golden Star Ferries.
"Toujours du retard"
C est notre dernière traversée des vacances et le bateau à 30 minutes de retard . Aucune information orale ni visuelle pour signifier ce retard et arrivée de 3 bateaux pour Heraklion en même temps ... Nous avons payé 50 centimes par ticket pour retirer nos tickets .
"Not the best"
The ferry set off late and was an hour on arrival. Available food did not at all cater for vegan or vegetarians. There was plenty of space on the boat but we were required to take all our luggage up to the upper decks.
"4* service and quality of vessel"
The vessel is almost excellent. Lots of convenient sofas on the deck which were very convenient. The salons were clean with appropriate temperature so to feel comfortable during the journey. The only recommendation would be to add more goodies in the cafes.
"review"
A great ship - incredibly well appointed and a great trip
"Cancelled Ferry"
Our ferry from Mykonos to Santorini was cancelled without any notice. The lady at the desk in Mykonos was very rude and unhelpful. Still waiting to hear back from Golden Ferries re complaint. The ferry back from Santorini was pleasant apart from the majority of the toilets being blocked. The ferry itself was clean and had adequate catering facilities. There was ample seating inside and outside.
"Take care!!!!"
We were to catch the 11.30am ferry from Santorini to Mykonos. Boarding at 11am from gate 4. Which we did, as directed by the port officials.....only to discover once on board and under way that we were on the wrong boat!!!! The tickets are NOT checked until you have left port. There were a dozen travellers who had made the same mistake: we were on the superfast ferry. We had to pay all over again, a much higher fare, three times what we had already paid. There is no refund as they are different operating companies. So be warned, DOUBLE CHECK BEFORE BOARDING and don't be shoved along by port-side officials! Scores are therefore middle of the road.....I've no idea what the facilities were like as I never got on the boat!
"Fantastic trip"
Was very impressed from the minute we got on board.
"Golden star from Heraklion to santorini"
Our passage booked for 29/09 cancelled- no complaints there. Went to the office on Sunday 30, at the time of the next scheduled sailing to get information. People were arriving for their sailing and the office was closed with no one there to give information. People just left high and dry, not knowing what to do. Disgraceful. The sailing is advertised in brochures as 2 and a half hours but it took 4 hours. All the toilets blocked. First sailing for several days - surely they should have been fixed in that time
"Disappointed"
Unfortunately our trip to Santorini has been cancelled due to the bad weather condition without let us now. We drove more than 2 hours from Chania town to Heraklion and had to wake up in the early morning. They only told us when we arrived to the ferry, which was quite annoying. We’ve got the refund, but nobody will pay for the cost of patrol and etc., and our day has been ruined as we had to travel 4 hours for nothing, and we could of plan something else if they would let us now in the morning. Good advise: It is better to call them before your trip to avoid dissapointment.
"Santorini"
A first class vessel. Chaos at Mykenos port prior to departure with so many people trying to get onto so many sailings but once underway on the correct vessel, a very pleasant 5 hours with stunning scenery. Ample space for all and a chance to see some of the other islands en route. The arrival at Sanntorini is spectacular.
"Efficient service"
Very efficient service, helpful staff. A great way to see the Greek islands.
"Excellent trip with the Superferry"
Very nice and modern ship, with confortable seats, good facilities and plenty of outside seating
"Great trip"
Catching the ferry from Santorini to Crete was comfortable, easy and everything you needed for a short journey. There was food on board but only for the start of the journey so if you are buying food on board go to the shop early. One of the staff members was a little rude when I asked about serving food later on but other than that it was a pleasent journey.
"Great trip"
Amazing trip from mykonos to ios, lovely and comfortable journey
"Waste of upgrade Crete to Santorini "
Ship was punctual to leave Crete. I paid for the airplane seats but what a waste as everyone sat where ever they wanted to anyways. Could have had the seats free. Bathrooms were disgusting- water on the floors. No soap from the beginning so just imagine how many people didn’t wash their hands on the 3 hour trip. Good and drinks - ok. More like a convienence store. When arriving to port they request you go down 15 min before docking. What was horrible was the area you need to wait houses cars and people were running their cars for 10 min so they had air conditioning and you are just standing there breathing it all in, in the enclosed area. There were signs for engines to be turned off but no one from he crew enforced. It was a waste. I’d prefer to fly if doing it again - or book another line. It gets you where you need to go cheap.
"Aweful customer service"
We reached the port at least an hour before the departure. We were not allowed to board the ferry despite showing the electronic tickets . This was because on the reception couldn't print them . The lady had limited English speaking skills, which is understandable. But she was very rude and said that nothing could be done. We had to talk to the ferry captay for the receptionist to help us. After repeated requests she agreed to call the company only to find out that tickets had been cancelled. She wouldn't give me any reason and asked us to buy new tickets . I had to buy a new set of 8 tickets and currently in process for applying a refund on the original tickets. Overall an extremely disappointing experience due to the rudeness and obstructive nature of the receptionist.
