Fishguard is located on the Irish Sea in Southwest-Wales. From Cardiff follow the M4. After Swansea take the A48 and then the A40. If you are coming from the north take the A487, which will lead you directly to Fishguard.
The Fishguard – Rosslare ferry service is operated by Stena Line on a schedule of 14 sailings per week. The crossing time is 3 hours and 15 minutes and is the fastest way to get from the UK to the South of Ireland.
On this route you can travel as a foot passenger or bring your vehicle with you. Dogs and cats travel free of charge on Fishguard ferries. You can book a kennel for your pets or they can stay in your car for the duration of the crossing. Please make sure you book pets in advance to guarantee a place aboard the ferry.
At the Fishguard ferry terminal you will find a motorist lounge, a coffee shop, a children’s play area, baby changing facilities and disabled toilets. There is a car park for short stay directly outside the terminal building and a long stay parking 150 metres away. Parking costs from £8 per day.
