Cape May-Lewes Ferry

As the name of this operator suggests, these ferries run on Delaware Bay between Cape May, New Jersey and Lewes, Delaware. The crossing takes 85 minutes in total and takes in views of picturesque harbours, historic lighthouses, majestic native seabirds and you may even be able to spot some Whales and Dolphins whilst en route.

There are daily departures between April and October with at least four crossings but with as many as 12 on peak season days. The fleet caters for cars, buses, RVs and you can even bring your pets on your Delaware Bay trip.

Inside the ship you’ll find a variety of seating options with tables, benches and reclining chairs to pick from. Outdoors you have a selection of Adirondack type seats as well as more table seating in the upper deck Lido Bar.
