"Excellent"
The ferry departed on time but arrived one hour late due to bad weather conditions. 10 out of 10 for the toilet cleanliness and services provided in the bar, restaurant and reception. Thank you and keep it up.
"Positive"
All good except for the h1 delay from Igoumenitsa (recovered during the crossing). Bar prices too expensive.
"trip to Greece"
Hello all, I'm always happy to book on your website to travel to Greece. Always excellent service
"all good"
departure on time, relaxing trip, friendly staff
"summer 2014"
I had a problem on the outbound because someone else was using my reserved seat. No candies or gumsa at the bar. Good staff on board
"quiet trip"
Good experience in my trip from Bari to Igoumenitsa. Departure on time, clean ship and friendly staff
"not the ideal ship for a long crossing"
not the ideal ship for a long crossing, I think that everyone should have a reserved seat to sleep and relax instead of travelling sleeping on the floor.
"My trip Bari-Patras and return, agoust 2014"
Good trip with Superfast Ferries, kind staff, departure on time, fast boarding
"Bari-Igoumeniza"
all good
"ship not clean"
Ship not clean and old
"A quality return journey"
Superfast ferries is a good company. I go every year beween BARI and PATRAS with my peugeot partner. There isn't any problem. The schedule is respected. It's fairly easy to find a place to lay down and sleep in good conditions (except during the weekend) The food in the self service restaurant is decent and the service is good. I'll travel again with Superfast ferries in 2015.
"Review"
We have travelled end of October with the Superfast I from Bari to Patras. It was a very relaxed trip. Mainly because it were not many travellers on the ship, which made it very nice. Unfortunately, we had missed the information on the website that it is possible to sleep on the open deck in your own camper or van, so we had booked a cabin. The cabin was very nice but still, next time we will use the opportunity and save the money for it by sleeping in the van. Generally the prices of the cabins are not cheap. In short we had a very nice trip, enjoyed a low amount of travellers and would do it again.
"Journey Igomenitsa/Bari"
A part from the hour delay that we suffered, all fine on the journey otherwise.
"Discomfort"
A very average confort for a night crossing. It was impossible to get a bed and sleeping in a chair is not easy. We arrived 90 minutes late.
"Late"
I think that I will not make this experience again, the crossing Igoumenitsa-Bari of 15/09/2013, they were 6 hours late and that caused a lot of logistic and practical inconveniences for me.
"Good crossings"
The journey was pleasant. The staff was nice and the toilets were fairly clean. Food was a bit expensive at the restaurant, but otherwise the pitas and the gyros were very good.
"Air conditioning too strong"
We travelled on the route Bari-Igoumenitsa on the 29/08 and return on the 03/09. On the return the ferry had a delay of about h1, while on both journeys the air conditioning on board was so strong that all passengers had problems dealing with the intense cold. The staff couldn't do anything about it.
"03/04 september trip"
A blanket was dirty and they replaced it. In the middle of the night (around h03.00) we had a problem in our cabin's toilet (very noisy). We called the reception and they immediately came to fix the problem. Unfortunately, they didn't inform us that the problem was sorted and we lost about h1 sleep. Following this unpleasant episodes I would have expected an apology. The ferry arrived with h2 delay at destination.
"Good Service on board"
We had a 2 berth outside cabin which was really comfortable, clean and quite. We were welcomed on board and shown to our cabin, which was nice. Staff wete friendly and spoke good English. We used the bar and had a nice sandwich.
"Ferry Bari -Igoumenitza"
everything fine, we had also very good weather and great sailing conditions, only the check in was slow
"The other side of the coin"
We travelled on the 19th from Bari To Igoumenitsa and we were pleased with the services offered, the cleanness and the punctuality. On the return journey, we were hoping to get the same conditions, but unfortunately it wasn't the same... The ferry arrived with h2 delay and staff was rude. On the outbound journey we had reserved seats, but on the return weren't available, as well as the cabins. We asked a different travel agents and we've been told that everything was sold out... We also asked at the check-in and we've been told the same. Once on board we saw a queue to purchased the cabins, suddenly available, at double price!!! I refused to pay double price for a cabin I tried to purchased for 10 days and talking to other passengers I found out this is standard procedure, so I was very disappointed. If for the outbound journey I would have given a vote equal to 7, for the return I give 1, with an avarage of 4.
"DON'T travel with Superfast Ferries"
I wouldn't recommend it!!! Prices are too high comparing to the services offered: especially if you consider that with a plane you can get to the island earlier and at low cost. Staff on board is rude: at times we were treated like animals. Pay such a high fare without being able to get a seat is a rip-off. According to their logic, we should have travelled on the outside deck, where it was cold, even because all seats were occupied. I wouldn't recommend it. If I ever go back to Corfù, I will travel by plane.
"Superslow ferry !"
Positives: the installations were clean and the staff was nice, especially in the restaurant (which offers a good value for money) Negatives: the lock of our cabin wasn't working and, because the staff didn't believe us, someone always had to stay inside the cabin, which was not very practical! The worse thing is the timekeeping. A 2h30 delay. The boat doesn't desserved to be called 'superfast'. It should be called 'superslow ferry' Next year, I will go to Greece through former Yugoslavia, I am fed up with the ferry!
"All talk no action"
On the outbound journey Bari-Igoumenitsa-Patras, the ferry left from Bari on time at h20.00. I travelled with my girlfriend on deck (august 2013). We were among the first to board the ferry and we found good seats on the lounge area (with air conditioning). The area was elegant and well kept, but a bit small. Besides, a member of staff told us that we couldn't use mats to sleep in the lounge (it never happened before). Therefore, we decided to sleep on the sofas. We arrived in Igoumenitsa at h05.00 and they forced us to disembark at that time (the ferry was supposed to arrive at h08.00). On the return journey it was worst. The ferry arrived in Igoumenitsa with h1.5 delay and we left the port at midnight. Once inside the ferry we realised that the lounge was full of passengers (they boarded in Patrass) sleeping on the floor with mats till the corridor and bar area. We had to sleep on the outside deck, among chaos and smokers. We arrived in bari with h2.5 delay (at h10.30 instead of h08.30) and we lost the Eurostar train connection in Salerno (we could have make it if the ferry would have respected the time, even with h1 delay). On the bright spot I can say that we ate well at the restaurant.
""
A luxurious boat, a clean cabin. There was a delay of two hours and thrity minutes on the way there and one hour and a half on the way back. You need to plan enough time for connections.
"Journey to Greece"
Perfect Journey, on the both trips , the staff was really professional, I would make this trip again.
"BARI / PATRAS and PATRAS / BARI crossing"
It's well organised, the staff is welcoming and the crossing is nice. It's something to do again. Thanks superfast Ferries
"Supefast, super serious."
We are used to crossings between Italy and Greece. Superfast is still by far the most serious company regarding timekeeping, services and safety. Minoan Anek and the others are good too and a bit cheaper, but slighly below in quality.
"Great service"
Everything was organised very well. Very good service.
"Superfast wasn't very fast"
A good prestation overall, but 3 and a half hour late in Bari!!
"Bari_ Corfou on 5 July 2013"
We appreciated the quality of the ferry, the quality of the reception! However, we'll book a cabin next time, because the reclining seats are not very confortable and it's noisy!
"the crossing "
Actually ok something messed up in Bari
"Ig-Bari"
Definitely should have paid the extra and got a cabin. Ship is clean but not much deck space. One deckhand got really stressy when I didn't understand some very vague parking directions. Long wait on the quay as ferry arrived/departed late. Food was very expensive!!!
"Great Experience"
It was a great experience. We drove our small sedan onto the designated deck and moved to the passengers lounge. In no time we were all asleep and when we woke up we could see the coast of Greece. All went smoothly and comfortably.
"Comfortable trip, but some staff ignorant ."
We had a comfortable trip on the Superfast Ferry. It would have been excellent if it wasn't for an uncooperative bar attendant. We wanted to have a restaurant meal on the ferry. We boarded early and had drinks at the bar waiting for the restaurant to open. Just before 6.30pm we asked a bar attendant when the restaurant would open. He said at 7.30pm. As a result of this misinformation we proceeded to order some food, two baguettes from the bar, to tide us over until dinner time, as we were very hungry. As soon as we placed our order an announcement was made that the restaurant was open, the time was 6.30pm. I quickly told my husband to run utter the bar attendant to cancel our order. My husband followed the fellow and told him to cancel the order because we wanted to eat at the restaurant. The bar attendant said to my husband that it was too late, but my husband thought it would be fixed because we just ordered, and the meal would not have been prepared, he didn't think the fellow was serious . We then proceeded to go to the restaurant to order our meal and as we were waiting to order, the bar attendant turned up with the baguettes. I told him that we didn't want the bar food, that we cancelled it, but he said it was too late. I said to him that we asked him when the restaurant would open and he said 7.30pm, but it opened at 6.30pm. He said he was working on "Greek time" ! I told him it was his mistake, he should have cancelled the order but he just ignored me and passed the tray of food over, with no apology. As a result of his ignorance I couldn't share a nice hot meal with my family. I reluctantly decided to eat one of the baguettes. This incident, and the lack of regard, really spoiled what could have been a lovely trip on the ferry. As a result of this incident I'll think twice before I book again with Superfast Ferries. Unfortunately I did not get the fellow's name. I left this complaint with the staff on board on a questionnaire type form, but I have not heard back from them as of yet.
"Reflection"
Ferry clean, helpful staff, schedules met. If they were all so we're good.
"Good but late"
The crossing was rather good. The double cabin has 2 single beds. We put our beds on the floor. The atmosphere was good. We were one hour late at arrival… Is "Superfast" an appropriate name for that ferry?
"Nothing to do with Grimaldi"
Bathrooms were clean and fragrant, escalators were in good condition, friendliness of staff was second to none
"Toilets"
Many people use the toilets during the embark so there should be more cleaning in that moment.
"Superfast?"
We arrived at the ferry port 120mins before scheduled departure as advised and boarded with the car 60mins before. The boarding procedure was very confused with a lack of anyone to guide you to the bowels of the ferry where we eventually ended up. Similarly there was no-one to show you the way back up to reception which involved crossing the area where the vehicles were still loading. Due to the large number of lorries loading we departed 60min late at 2pm. The ferry itself was nice and clean with plenty of seating and waiting staff to bring drinks etc. The buffet restaurant seems to cater for the lorry drivers who made up the vast majority of the passengers, so the food was plentiful and inexpensive. As we neared our arrival time of 22.30 I happened to pass the reception desk to find a hand written note to us passengers stating we would not arrive until 00.40. When someone did turn up at the desk I asked if the arrival time was correct, he nodded, and then why we were more than two hours late, he shrugged 'dunno'. Well around 1am the Anek 'Superfast' 1 sailed sedately into Igoumenitsa. They then allowed us drivers down to the vehicle deck, which again involved crossing the deck to get back to the stairs which would take us back to the bowels of the ferry and our car, however now the deck was crammed with lorries with inches between them. It was seriously like trying to find your was through a very tight maze comprising large articulated lorries, where were the staff to guide you? Asleep maybe? The handful of cars in the bowels were eventually released from the depths at 01.30 or so. Why after leaving 60 mins late did we arrive three hours late? It was a calm sunny day and there can be no reason why the driver of the boat could not have put his foot down a bit and made up for lost time. Why were there no announcements of our late arrival other than a note on reception which you had to find yourself. Why were the reception staff not given a reason for the delay, but most of all why were we expected to squeeze in between filthy lorries though choking exhaust fumes to get back to our car?
